need answer quick on PM urine test!

my 'urine guy' just fell through and i have my PM appt in 2 hours. do they usually do a urine test on the first visit and/or before handing out meds?

Yes..they always test on the first visit in my experience. But it's not ever supervised.. Better find some more urine or alter yours. What's in your system?

I've used a few excuses before told them upfront I was gonna test positive for X like had a migraine was in the ER gave me X..they prob wil not check. Just better not test + for it again. Course if it's THC..that won't work. Try powdered bleach if all else fails.

Depending on the drug the may not even be on thier screen Good Luck!

Mine did, but he realizes people often use street drugs for pain management. If he found street drugs in your system he explained in no uncertain terms that it will be the LAST time he should, now that he was going to be prescribing pain meds. VERY cool doctor. It was after the urine test that he made me sign the contract.

So don't sweat that part of the exam. They KNOW people who deal with chronic pain will treat their pain in any way they can, and quite often use street drugs, or prescription drugs w/o a prescription. She/he should be cool with it, and make you understand that if you ever test positive for something they are not prescribing you, you will be cut off at that point.

yeah, i've heard of it, and a friend of mine actually had some, but he was 2 states away. i had some concentrated liquid urine (came with 'The Urinator') but i wasn't 100% sure about using it so i figured it was just better to tell them i couldn't pee right then. but i didn't even have to do that. ;)

Maybe my doc is just the coolest motherfucker on the planet, but I have NEVER been urine tested by my PM doc. To the OP, glad things worked out for you. If I ever did get tested, I was completely honest and up front with the doc from the beginning and told him I've smoked pot almost non stop for years, and wasn't planning on quitting anytime soon. He didn't seem to care about that.
