A real concern? OR Don't worry

Hello fellow opies,
I've been reading on other forums about the consequences of double dipping with ROPs. Is this something SWIM should be worried about or is it highly unlikely that 'they' would come after SWIM for getting from more than one source? Or what about SWIM getting 'black listed' from all ROPs? Also, what is the likelyhood that one trying to get a security clearance would be denied due to RX history. Esp if Suboxone got filled through insurance then after that lortab got filled for example. What kind of consequences does SWIM really need to worry about.

BTW swim is currenlty triple dipping. I mean who can live on 90 per month anyway and what about having a cushion?:D

haven't seen you in a while. what kind of security clearance? i work for a bank and had to go thru the whole deal with background checks and such - since it is FDIC insurced and blah blah. the building is locked down with act info and all so it's a pass/fail for employement.

i have some iffy things in teh past lots of on line prescriptions and alcohol treatment but never showed up on any inquiries.

i'm sure due to privacy laws with medical records. they cant have access w/o your permission so on line pharm shpping should not be a big worry unless you do something to get noticed by LE , i think

I filled Bupe at my pharmacy twice then filled a couple bottles of hydrocodone with no problem. But this was a pharmacy in the ghetto and I think they are there just for the money.. It was paid by insurance too.

I dont think theres anything against it because even people on Bupe can get injured or have an operation and need a decent analgesic at times.

Good point. It's just some of those posts on other forums would really scare someone who falls into such circumstances. Logically it seems like small potatoes for LE to go after.

I use to quadruple dip. I haven't ordered from am ROP in about 6 months though. I think as long as you are going through different pharmacies you have nothing to worry about. I did this for about 5 years and nothing happened to me.

if you can go to mom and pop shops and pay in cash (not insurance) this could be costly, but the small pharms are usually cheaper....

Oh Joy as long as you make sure that each ROP you deal with uses different pharmacies and are not affiliated with each other you should be just fine.

As long as your Vicodin script is legt you should have no problem getting it filled. with the insurance company anyway. a pharmacy may hassle you..just don't fill them at the same place. Do what Anti suggested..find a mom & Pop type if ya can. If not at least use 2 diff chains.

I never thought about tipping the fed ex guy. what would be a fair tip?

Also, anyone ever try to get an ROP script reimbursed through insurance?

How ya doing? I'm not sure exactely, but I know I will need to soon. I know there are privacy laws but the DEA isn't covered or something.
