Pleasant surprise of getting higher than expected

Today was a good day for a recreational dose of morphine sulfate. My back was killing me and I needed some extra medication anyways, plus I work from home on Tuesdays and got everything finished early today. I am prescribed MS-Contin 60mg 3x a day plus some MSIR's for BTP and have enough extra pills for the occasional recreational dose, which in my instance is anywhere from 150mg-300mg. I took 195mg orally, crushing the MS-Contin (Ethex brand) to a fine powder before ingesting, and the MSIR's whole.

Now, just 40 minutes later and I am high as hell. It feels like it's a much higher dose, like what 300mg normally feels like. This is with no more potentiators than normal -- a single 25mg diphenhydramine (Benadryl) tablet to prevent the nausea I sometimes get with recreational doses of MS.

Don't you love it when you are pleasantly surprised like this? I haven't even peaked yet!
