Ok, so I've heard a lot about the withdraws from tramadol. I've heard that they are way worse then other things and also that they are mild as mothers milk. Normally I wouldn't be taking trams, but they are one of the few things that I don't get UA'ed for. And without a tolerance they do pack a bit of a punch. So, whats the consensus on the withdraws from these little guys; how bad are they? Also, how long of taking them everyday does it take for withdraws to develop? I would appreciate any info or experience any one has.

Thanks

I took trams a good while back for about 6-7 months and they didn't help with the initial bad effects of w/ds but after that they were definately better than nothing. As far as w/ds from the trams I don't think they were that bad. They are pretty weak and have kind of a slight speedy high (if you call it that) but I kind of just realized I forgot to take em one day and took em again the next (this was after being on them for several months) and after a while I just stopped. The only other thing I had at the time was xanax to sleep and phentermine (which I was taking in combination with tramodol) and stopping was pretty easy for me...I still have a couple bottles and really have no intention of taking them again, but keeping them just in case I guess...

It (as with everything) depends on the extent of your use, it gets worse the more you take them and the longer you stay on them. You also have to watch the max dose closely and make sure NOT to exceed it. A lot of people find it so hard because it is like withdrawing from 2 different drug types. You will see people who withdraw from it fairly easily and say that it is not a big deal to withdraw from- they are only feeling the mild agonist w/drawal. Other people, usually those who use it in larger doses and for longer periods of time, get the effects of the w/drawal from it's secondary actions, i.e. the actions on GABA, noradrenergic and serotonergic effects. That w/drawal can also be very uncomfortable, that's the people you hear complaining about electric shocks going through their body etc.

So the short answer is it depends on how ya use it. Also, really be careful with the max dose. A lot of people take it above the max a few times, don't have a seizure and think it's no big deal. It's a weird drug, you can take it many times at the same dose and one day it will give you a seizure at that dose- not fun at all!

MY wife takes 3x50mg three times a day and when she runs out (which she has about three times), after one day she's in hell until I get hold of more for her, or fill her with bupe.

Hey just so you know you can buy tramadol online or by phone legally and its not that much...No script needed either...

Well, technically that's not legal, but you can get away with it easily.

Or if you can find a decent Doctor (SWIM found one at the free clinic in town, and tramadol is not scheduled in the US), both WalMart and Giant Eagle (supermarket chain) has Tramadol 50 mg X 60 on their $4.00 prescription list. Less than a pack of cigarettes. Like they say, better than nothing and cheap to boot.

I've been on Trams for over 2 years and I mainly use them to help ease WD's but if I take them steady for a while and then run out the WD's are almost as bad as opiate WD's IMO

I'm pretty sure its legal...It works like you tell them what you want and how much and they have their doctor perscribe it to you and they ship it out within a couple days usually. As long as it isn't scheduled it is perfectly legal, if not then there are a lot of companies pushing scripts illegally...

If you're talking about having a paid "consultation" with their online doc, then that's a grey legal issue.

As for just finding a site that sells them, ordering them without a script or having even spoken to a doctor, then that's illegal. But again, it works and is really easy to do and fairly safe.
