Oral Morphine Liquid

SWIM's friend's neighbors cat just scored a bottle of oral morphine concentrate. It's 30ml, 20mg per ml. 600mg total. Got a nice dropper\plunger and all too. Is this stuff any good? SWIM's friend's neighbors cat, can't use it quiet yet. If one has no tolerance, how much would get them good? Is the oral bioavailability good with this stuff unlike other ms? Also, what is the 'street' value of this? Thank you opiophiles.

sorry DAG. i can't really answer any of your questions, i just wish i could have this stuff again. i loved it.

i can't imagine that the oral bioavailability is any different than morph in pill form. but this stuff seemed to hit me quicker, maybe just cuz the liquid is absorbed faster? if you have zero tolerance, i'd probably recommend starting with a 1mL dose (20mg) and working your way up slowly as needed. y'know the story... start small, increase slow till ya get a feel for it, you can always take more but you can't take it away after you take too much, stay safe, have fun, yada yada yada..... good advice that never goes out of style.

i had lotsa fun with bottles just like this a few years back. sometime i may have to write about the time i was able to pull off a "jedi mind trick" to make a cop go away when me & a friend were a cunt-hair away from getting caught in a car with a buncha this and some really incriminating evidence....

but for now, i'm gonna go back to drooling over your stash. mmmmmmmmmmmm...... *slurp*

EDIT: y'know i wondered the same thing when i had it (about IV). i seem to remember coming to the conclusion that it was too thick & syrupy to push through a point. diluting it woulda meant needing a bigger rig than i've ever seen in order to get a decent dose. besides, as sickly sweet as it was, i kept picturing myself going into some kinda diabetic/sugar shock if i'da tried it!

Well, I IV'ed 80 units of that SAME oral morphine in 2001, about 3 weeks after 9-11.
It sent me running out the door and puking my guts out onto the lawn.
Just be careful, go sparingly.
You can always add more, but you can't take away.

You might wanna take some gravol before you get started. IVmorph can be very nauseating at the beginning.

Where I live street value for a 30ml bottle of Ethex brand is $80, not sure if the Mallinckrodt brand is the same price but Im sure it's somewhere in that range. I would agree that 20-30mg dose is good to start with. I have iv'd the stuff countless times. It is pretty thick and is much easier if you add a little water to it. I always just used an Insulin needle and it worked fine.

I just drew it right out of the bottle, but then again I only did it once. I honestly don't recall it smelling like sugar or having any color to it. I know that it fucked me up more than any IV morphine, dilaudid, or demerol that I got in a hospital, that's for sure.

As a rule, products like this never have sugar in it, since some patients who would require it are diabetic and you don't want to mess around with their sugar intake. But these products are often somewhat thick, not sure what the agent is, I guess it must be some kind of harmless gelatin or something.

Hard to believe that 80 units would make Heidi puke because 0.80cc x 20mg/cc = 16mg, not a very large dose of morphine. Maybe Heidi puked because of the aforemented gelatin, and not the morphine?

Personally I would be afraid to IV it. Shooting morphine is no great thrill for me anyhow. Just swallow a bunch of get blasted, that's my advice.

This was back in my EARLY days of opiate usage. In fact, I was still heavily involved in the methamphetamine scene at the time. As I recall, I had been up for 4 or 5 days, hadn't slept
or ate anything, and was geekin' my ass off when I decided to do the morphine. Back then,
I was prescribed Percodan for my back; but because of my speed problem, I didn't take them but when I was coming down or badly hurting. This was the first shot of any opiate I administered myself; my tolerance to opiates then is no where near it is now. Maybe this is why I puked. I remember I loved the feeling of an out-of-control elevator (the morphine) pushing up thru my body. It was fucking awesome; altogether different than shooting speed. :D

DAG, gravol is something you can buy OTC. It's a brand name for dimenhydrinate.... which is an anti-nausea medication.

It's good to use with any IV narcotic. I've seen it enough times where patients get a shot, morph, demerol or whatever..... and a few seconds later they just start heaving. When I get a shot (eg. during a kidney stone episode) I'll ask them to put a little gravol in with the morphine. No hurling, no nausea, no problem.

DAG, you are gonna do what you are gonna do.but I have to say this.

I have been on roxanal before, it can be dosed as frequently as every hour ( and is often RX'd that way), it is formulated to be swallowed, not IV'd. Just like pills ( which I do IV)..however with this particular med.I would not. And believe me when I tell you that if I can get it in a rig and use it that way I will.

Not worth the risk with this particular formulation.
Think of it comprable to drinking your done syrup or Iv' ing it. Pretty much the same thing in my opinion.

Complications from shooting this stuff can be very nasty. And you honestly can get a good effect orally with this med in this formula.

Yeah from what I've been hearing about ms's bio availability I'm suprised how SWIM felt off 20mg, very nice. I won't be iving it. I never have done that YET, no need to start over this stuff. Was just pondering if it's more effective that route. Anywho, thanks everyone. :D

On a more serious not though, you reminded me I forgot to let everyone know that Candyshop was in the hospital for kidney stones and had to have them surgically removed. She's home now and recovering nicely, but after being clean and doing so well on sub she was worried the PCA she had me might mess up her sobrietey,. happy to report it did not.

A couple months ago MY cat got a bottle of the same stuff! Sorry to disagree, Woo, but the syrup is sugar and MY cat said it burned like m--fucker when he shot some. Also he told me that if the shot missed it would create a big, nasty hole in my paw/arm! So, basically he said just to lap it up orally! My cat is so smart he pisses me off sometimes!
