GF kicking oxycodone..

So my non-addict girlfriend, who never touched opiates before - started to take oxycodone as soon as I got on subs. When we first met, I was fresh from rehab and hydrocodone was giving me a buzz, she loved it at first taste. She use to just do it once in a blue moon, but now, since I'm on subs and alprazolam.. she's been doing 60-90mgs (oxycodone) a day for about three weeks now straight.. She doesn't know what to expect, I keep telling her that I can give her a suboxone into her 2nd day and she should be fine. I just hope she gets off this shit... It's kinda irritating to watch her do my DOC while I take subs.

So, send my GF good vibes - she's never wd's before - and I think she can do it. I've got suboxone handy jus tin case.

Just send her good vibes, I know all the tricks of the trade... just wanted to get this off my chest. I've never kicked from just a three week binge, but I suspect - this being her first kick - and only thee weeks of heavy use with a month of chipping before it - it shouldn't be that bad. Considering I'm on sub maintenance... I can get her off.

give her half of a sub she would love that. i was on subutex in 02 before the law i think cause my pcp wrote it. i would give one to a friend o mine he would eat 1mg of it and be gone all nite long on it. he ate 2 before we went to eat and it made him so sick he puked like u do on ur first ever dose of anyopiate. he said it was the best yet worst feeling ever. lol

ya any amount of wd's suck the first time. it shouldnt be THAT bad tho. especially with the subs. good luck to her tho.

That will suck a little for her, no way around how uncomfortable it'll be for her. On the same token, 80 or 90 mgs, while obviously more than the "recommended" (whatever that means, LOL) is certainly not the worst...

You have the right idea, man, with the Subs, I'll tell ya. SHe should definitely take yo up on that. Not only will it releive her sickness, but it will also give her some energy and all the things that being dopesick takes away from us...

Oh, and on a side note, ican see how it would irritate you about the OC, it being your DOC and all that. (I like OC personally , too) I mean, it's just an added temptation for you with your girl taking them all the time, know what I mean?

You have a good gameplan, and i think with your help (and expereince in such matters) she should be fine.

Oh Diluted, you should have made her take a break somewhere along the line. We are all wishing the best for her. Shes a big girl and keeping the oxy under control is going to be her job, but you need to show her you care and if she cares about you she can do it:)
