Hey, Im new here so excuse my first post if this has already been discussed somewhere else, and if it has could someone please point me to it? I was curious as to what everyone does to treat/cure their withdrawls when they don't have a supply? what about when youre trying to quit, what do you do to hold out as long as possible? Or does anyone know the best way to weine (sp?) off and lower the amount youre using? Im talking about black tar, or chiva, specifically if it matters. Thanks.

I myself am going through this same exact thing right now and I'm coming outta my fukin skin people. Hydration is key to most things in life, I cant see why it wouldnt appy here. When I was going through detox from methadone the advice given to my by some of our sites elders was simply "throw the book at it". Yes this is esier said than done when your being ravaged by emotions you've never felt or havent felt in a long time. Suicidal, homicidal, just wanting to smash stuff and you dont know why except the pain, escape the pain. Being empty through and through. My back hurts so bad man. If I had the guts... I'll never go back to the done. Theres a way to overcome this, but it's been buryied soo deep for so long can we find it still? You can, and so can I. But I dont want to. I'm broke so I cant get my fix. Good luck to you bro. I've done it before and so can you.

Immodium also helps, also you may look into maintaining on Kratom. You won't get any euphoria really, but it can stop WD's to a large extent depending on your chemistry. Good luck

If you smoke pot, I would advise doing so. It helps if you can't get nothing else.

Immodium? like immodium AD? isn't that diarrieha medicine or something? Also what is Kratom? I have never heard of that. Thanks for the reply, i was just basically looking for some ideas as to what to do to feel better when you are WDing, i think that is the worst feeling ever, in the world. Im pretty interested in what Kratom is, so hit me up if you have time, thanks again.

Immodium is a opiate which does not make it to the brain but from what I have heard can help out WD at higher than prescrbed doses ! I think in the 5-10 mg range ! I heard on another site its closely related to methadone and some swear by it, taking away all WD symptoms except energy and craving. also if taken in that range ,you need to possibly take something like Senecot for constipation it causes .Its cheap enuff to be worth a try ,unless your allergic to it ! Have a look at the kratom forum, there's tons of info in there. It's not really something that will get you high(didn't for me) but it did get rid of my cravings quite a bit.

It's currently legal in the US and most other places and some people maintain daily on it. We've got a whole forum on it around here somewhere. Good luck :)

B12, b6, multuvitimin, Apple Juice in bulk. Keep Shitting. Keep drinking that juice. imodium imodium klonopin.

Or substitute the imodium with lomotil (diphenoxylate) but be easy b/c it contains atropine (helps dry up the mucus but no good in high doses...comes from belladonna (the crazy hallucinogen)

Immodium, Valium, Codeine or Tramadol or Propoxyphene, Poppy Seed Tea or Pod Tea, Magnesium, Calcium, Zinc, Vitamin C, Vitamin B Complex or Vitamin B6, Gatorade, Soup, Perhaps anti-histamines for sleep like Promethazine HCl and Promethazine theoclate, Doxylamine Succinate, Dramamine, Benydrl, etc.
Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, Aspirin for pain as non-narcotic analgesics.

Immodium is a must have for withdrawls. Yes it's for diarreah but that's what you get when you have withdrawls. But it helps with some of the other withdrawls as well. Probably because it's technically an opiate. Although it doesn't pass the blood brain barrier.

I believe you are mistaken with regards to Salvia miltriorrhiza and cacao. Can you provide references?
Anyhow, for those wondering, there indeed are several substances and plant extract proven to prevent tolerance and/or dependence, or mitigate (possibly abolish) established dependence in mice and rats. However, there is a glaring (as in "glaring wound") lack of good clinical trials performed on human subjects with these interventions (you'd think governments could divert a tiny fraction from their "Drug War" budgets towards the goal of alleviating all that suffering). Perhaps I should post some brief notes regarding these, though at least the more prominent ones can be found and researched pretty easily by those interested.
