hey all, im new here but wanted to see if people here could clear up a few things bout DHC for me..
a) what do ya reckons a good dose for someone who isnt very opiate tolerant as havent done any opiates for a long time?
seen a few accounts of people doing between 240-270 mg but doesnt state how tollerant they were.
b)does cold water extraction really work that well on DHC to get all the apap crap out, as I keep hearing different things on DHC bout its solubility, as came across a site the other day (which was some scottish drugs awareness thing) that claimed it wasnt??
c) mixing? good idea or not, if so whats the best combo?

1.do you have DF'S or otc pills?If you have DF'S don't bother with a cwe.
2.Dose is hard to say,unless you tell us your opio use history.
3.I'd mix with booze and weed.

nah theyre otc pills so defo will have to use cwe cos they have 500mg of apap per every 7.46mg of DHC, but cwe will work?
mostly just smoked tar opium and even doses of how much i did of that is vague as did a few times but never took much notice of how much i was taking...!

You'll need to cwe and it's not perfect,but it works ok.

For dosage I'd start at about 150mgs and see how it goes.I'd smoke joint after you drop the codeine and after you've peaked I'd have a drink or several.

Oh check to so how much(if any) caffeine is in the pill.

I've CWE'd the very pills of which you speak, and it worked fine.
Don't like DHC though - it's shit.

as far as potency of DHC is concerned, I've always heard its about twice that of regular codeine. So if you are familiar with regular codeine you could base it from that. If you've not done any opiates in a long time 240-270mg would be too much likely. 100-150mg sounds like a reasonable dose to start with if your not opiate naive, just have a low tolerance right now. That should equal about 7-10 T3s if the potency conversion is correct.

when i first started taking painkillers for my back it was 500/30 codeine 2 of those would fuck me up immensley, so 150mg of di hydro codeine witch is twice the strength will probably fuck you over, too much, I think bad advice has been given here by all involved

yeah everywhere seems to be saying the same about being twice as potent and codeine..ah well, probs will just take it easy and go for 60mg for starters and work my way up if needed, seem like a good plan?

I agree entirely. If the guy is opiate-naive then 150mg of DHC is well on the way to killing him.

30mg is a good starting point.

We do have DHC without apap and caffeine,but this guy has otc stuff with all that crap in it.So,it's cwe time for him.


He's got an otc codeine prep,as opposed to DFs of DF continuous.

haha yeah thats true so will just start low to be on the safe side there seems to be alot of confusion on the doses so sounds like the best bet.
