Hello. Usually SWIM takes a week or two break from opiates, chipping I suppose...Whenever SWIM resumes using, he always pukes the first 1 - 2 times. I was thinking tagament would help, but appearantly its a potentiator and doesn't help at all! Woops! Are there any suggestions from you wise junky monks? It turns me off to getting my nod on, the nausea and vomiting. :(

The same shit happens to me after a little break..
After a couple doses all is good for me.. Oral OC tends to make me nausous(sp) more than snorting.. But with that comes the headaches...
I just prefer to stay high all the time and im good as gold..

Yeah bro, I agree puking is a bitch but at least you know you're having a good time!! I've found the combo of a fat bowl of kronik and some tums usually does the trick. Also, having a little something in the stomach, not to much mind you, but just enough. A good glass of milk helps me but makes others I've recommended it to more sick. Heres an addendum to you question: how often do you puke and what different substances make you puke?

for the first like say... year or year and a half when I used OC... sometimes morphine (which made me very ill) If I would do anything over 20mg or so, I would vomit violently, with every move. I felt wonderful... even while barfing, but if I did anything other than lie on my back, It was puke city for me. Then again, I was only using very occasionally, like once or twice a month. I would buy an 80 (sometimes even a teva 80) and it would last like 2 weeks. Once I became a habitual user, the sickness went out the window. I could chew on 20mg oxy's all day and keep a smile. Be careful, maybe keeping that sickness around ain't such a bad thing.

The best thing to do in such a situation as drug-induced vomiting is to set up a video camera in the bathroom and just videotape yourself puking.

Not only is it funny later on to watch it, but it can also give you interesting revelations about yourself and your habits.

if i set up video surveilence in my room/bathroom and watched it later on (clean obviously) it would probably be enough to make me never want to do drugs again. poking myself 20 times with blood running down my hands and feet, puking up pills that should be keeping my withdrawls away, and then picking them out of the vomit in the toilet and eating em...im sure you all know the story.

You're not alone nick, I think vomiting is the guarantee that you got the good stuff, and you got a real good hit. Once you have a rock-hard habit it's pretty damn hard to get stuff good enough to trigger a vomit reaction, so when it happens, it's THUMBS UP!!

Even being sick isn't as bad as being ABOUT to be sick. I'd really rather go without opies that suffer such cruel indignity.

Opiates affect the vomiting center in the brain, that is why you puke. Some are more sensitive than others.

Sometimes when Im w/ding bad, I'll get really nauseous after taking the first shot back in. It ussually only lasts for about twenty seconds, and sometimes its bad enough to make me vomit, but in most cases not. Then, the nausea fades and Im high, and all the sickness sweat gets sucked up into my body. Ohhhhh man, I could use some dope right now....:(

Anyways, I digress. Certain drugs will make ya puke more than others. I find morphine makes alot of people (myself included) blow chunks. Still love it though. I'll never get the OC craze...they are one of my least favorite opiates. Sure, they get me nice and loaded, but its a very synthetic high, as opposed to a nice heavy, natural morphine one. I dunno maybe Im crazy. Either way, Ill take the M with the possibility of puking over an oxy any day.

i found it odd, but i'd often have to cook our (me+ex's) drugs, because as soon as he knew they were close, he'd have his head in the toilet, retching his guts out. It was a psychological reaction not physical- we barely ever went through physical w/ds. Just didn't have to (and def didn't want to!!). Yet i would literally have to bring him his shot in the bathroom, he'd shoot it while still puking. And then be fine.

I've had nauseaus anticipation for coke and speed before, but never the actual vomits

Phenergan (promethazine) . That's what I take when i take meds for migraines. It also increases the buzz if you get one. Should be east to get. Tell your doc you are having nausea with the pain meds.

i got a good friend (i'll call her "jane" but that's not her name) who has the same problem
she shoots dope occasionally
and when we get high with her
we let her go first because
"if the dope doesn't make jane puke, it's no good"
maybe you could become like the "dope-gauge" for your buddies

Bro anytime Ive ever felt the urge to puke id take a hit or two off a joint and be cash money for the rest of the night. Thats really enough to git me stoned as I dont smoke often at all.

But this may sound strange but I love puking. And the relief your stomach feels after your done.
