Personally I would rather sniff a line than smoke a rock. I've done it before, but walking through the tenderloin over in SF watching all the toothless homless crazy people smoke rocks on the street makes me never wanna do it again. If nothing else, at least you still have your honesty. Nobody should get ripped off, our kind have it hard enough as it is. But I'm sure that was a little piece of a pure fictional story your writing correct? :-)

I thought base was cooked up with ether, crack made with baing soda....... crack is much much safer to make. I might have that backwards though. And flip...... your very very right. My definition of it has changed from when I was sober, to now... now I have to maintain my life... and be able to pay for my addiction. I hope it doesn't turn my life around. I constantly have to "check" myself. If I see I'm broke, if I have spent my last 20 bucks on a 40mg... then I know, I need to relax.... get on the dones for a little bit... or taper myself off a tad.....It's a very thin thin line that I alk in my life..... I sure as fuck am not sober...... but I will never be "the junky with the dull needle hanging out of my arm" I will not let myself do that. I know how easy it is, to fall into the gutter... but I'll get right back out. Thanks for the reality check :-)

Its so damn easy to git a rock or two just a couple blocks outside my stompin grounds. Detroit, can git it anywhere, Flint almost anywhere, hell generally almost anywhere around me.

I honestly don't think you're gonna get an accurate response with this thread. Crack has such a bad rep (deservedly so) that most users are reluctant to admit it. Opiates have a list of celebrity users a mile long. It's like everybody's in rehab for alcohol or opiates.

Crack is for losers and oxy is the drug of the stars...... not really, but that's how it seems right now.

way before heroin, i used to have a ton of fun shooting crystal meth. luckily, in nz it's so pricey it's hard to go mad on it. $50 per shot minimum, and that's without any tolerance. Ouch.

I don't really hold one drug in esteem over another, don't like to stereotype, it all depends on how they react chemically with ya.

I used it for a while, but it got a bit mad for me, I still use it occasionally but very rarely it is the same drug as powder coke but another world from what I can see.

I used the powdered stuff in the 2 gram or so a day range for about a year and could still stop with little but some extreme tiredness for a few days and huge cravings for coke, crack on the other hand within a fortnight I hardly knew myself becoming increasingly compulsive, arguing with everyone etc etc. Didn't really agree with me used like that, so I went back to the powder then stopped bothering with that when I began using opiates, as I say will still smoke crack on rare occasions and I hit the powder on nights out and stuff but mainly prefer the opiates.

Most people know my story. The father of my kids has been a crackhead for 17 years. Last year, for some sick reason, he pressured me into smoking a primo. At the end of the night I "accidentally" got a full blast of crack and it was the most intense experience of my life. The first words out of my mouth were "Where can we get some more?"

This led into the worst nightmare of my life, a 4 month binge with Mr. Crackhead getting increasingly paranoid, abusive (not physically, just fucking with my head), while I was dropping weight like I was dying, stop changing my clothes, ignored my whole family... well you get the point.

After getting him out of my house I was able to stop the binge. We went through something like 10 grand in a few months. I had a $200 a day habit.

I still smoke because I truly do enjoy it. I only get 4 small stones at a time. I've found my limit, the amount I can smoke and not go into tweak/binge mode. I can go weeks at time without touching it.

Everyone says you can't be an occasional crack smoker, but I disagree.

Crack just sounds bad. I like to refer to it as TURBO.

I guess you can say I was a functioning Turbo head. I used to spoke 3-4 40 Rocks on Weekend. Actually through 1 night sitting. After it was gone, I'm smoke the resin then the eventual carpet searching for anything white. Those times suck, then the next day I would feel like shit and not wanna do it again till next weekend, never missed work because of the drug, but when I was on it, man, I would want more and more.
Once I partied with a dealer who just want to get high off his own supply and did he have a lot.
two fucking golf balls, we started at 6pm and didn't finish smoking till 11am the next day. I actaully had too much crack, I was like man, you guys gotta leave I can't smoke anymore. ah, good times.
I snort a few rails a couple times a month, but nothing compares to a hit of Turbo.
Damn, I just got a rush talking about it. I better pop a hydro fast.
