So here is the thing, i dont believe in anyway i have some type of debilitating back illness, the worst thing i can think of is perhaps i have an upper back disk problem or something from my very mild case of scroliosis. The pain is in my upper left back, stemming from my spine, i would have to say the pain is like a 3 ish or so, the problem is i cant find any comfortable positions to alieviate this pressure/pain, sometimes there are pains that shoot from the spine around my ribcage. Which is a little scary cause when i was 15 i had two heart oblations for SVT ( super ventricular tachacardia) anyway the point is ive gone to a chiropractor for like a month in a half and it seemed to do nothing, that was about 4 months ago i'd say the pain has somewhat gotten progressively worse, and it seems like the chiropractor might have been making it worse, since then ive set up an appointment with a doctor about my back and regular check up, i want to get an x-ray done just for safety sake cause its constantly hurting and tense in the same fucking spot always lol. Now im 20 years old so wisdom would say hes going to give me and exercise program and streches to help it (ive been doing strecthes for sure but to no real avail) Of course i dont expect pain medication if there is nothing wrong that he can see....my question really is how do you all feel about chiropractors??, im assuming if i dont get meds or treatment for my back through a (new first meeting)doctor that would be my only avenue for relief other than the occassional oxy when im really frustrated about the uncomfortability of things ( advil doesnt do shit for more than 30 minutes). Also i'd like to note marijuana use helps but not forever as we all now with pot the first high of the day is about as good as it gets for euphoria/pain relief beautiful plant though. Sorry this was soo long guys, im just concerned about this back thing i feel like im being a bitch cause people are like "your fucking 20 nothing is wrong with you" perhaps its just my anxiety(use pot for that) that makes the pain so evident and overwhelming when it is effectively a moderate yet constant pain....sorry for confusingness and length.
PS. One last thing to note, my back hurts worse when im sitting and laying than it does standing...problem is i cant stand for more than 5-6 hours (when i work) cause of worse that puts some strain on the legs lol
