my husband and i recently went through a detox for an oxy/fent habit.
upon our release from the hospital i was able to secure a spot with the ONLY sub doc in town(within a 60 mile radius for that matter) whereas we were unable to find a sub doc for hubby.
needless to say i have been sharing my subs with hubby for the past month and we take equal doses each day.
our dilemna is that hubby is up for a very big promotion within his company, one that would involve making near 30 grand more a year and us moving across the country to an area that we're more than thrilled about.
soooo...he will have to once again take a urine test.
and he's been taking the subs with no script in his name.
do we have to worry about the bupe showing up in a general five panel ua?
this is all going to go down in the next couple weeks here as they are desperate to fill the position he's aiming for and we're seriously stressing the bupe/ua issue.

I was considering a job that required drug tests so I asked my Sub doc if the Bup would show up and he told me No. But best to ask your doc or anyone else in the know.

From what I've read
they have to use
a separate test for Bup
and most don't bother.
You can order the Bup tests online
just google it.
To be really safe
have him abstain
four days if possible.

My test came up when I was in the Suboxone program,I hit a 20,000 whatever that meant, but see The thing about it is he got my pee mixed up with this guy name chad who was behind me and peed in a cup.
I think he decided to take my urine which was a mix of kids urine and a lil methadone so I know the test was screwed,I never had took 1 sub in 4 months/I was on methadone,he musta got in trouble for having meth in his pee.
Now the cups are handed out 1 by 1` w/ your name on it.so no more mix ups but to answer your question if they want to know if you are taking your subs and that youre not taking too much in my state if u r in the program it's` always tested for.Hope this helps.

it will not show up on a standard 5 panel test. buprenorphine is not a derivative of morphine, and thats what those tests test for. he will be fine.
