Remeron(anti-depressant) with Methadone, safe?

My doc just prescribed me this anti-depressant to increase my appetite because thats one of the side effects of the anti-depressant. Ever since i've been on methadone i've lost my appetite. I was just wondering if its safe to take with 40mg of methadone?

Assuming that the prescribing doctor knows about the methadone that you're taking, I wouldn't worry to much about it - if in doubt, call the doc or a pharmacy may be able to help with questions about drug interactions...

I take 45mg of remeron everynight and used to go to the clinic and was on 55mg of methadone and I had no kinda interaction

My old friend was on morphine and remeron(and xans) back in the day so...

I dunno but as long as your doc knows you're on the 'done... you can always call a pharmacy and dont say your name ya know.
