First time CONCERTA

swim gets 18mg concerta for free. swim is 6' 210lbs. what should swim start with? recommended method of administration?

I dont really like the concertas i prefer the IR pills. But i dont like ritlain either way.

You will be fine taking the whole thing, will be pretty wired, but should be ok. You might not even catch a buzz, some people it takes lots cause it isn't very strong. If you've never done any before you should be able to feel it.

He started on that one and dr gave swim shitloads on every med and told swim to decide....dr recomended concerta for some reason...well, after reading up and such it was decided concerta is vertually abuse proof !!

Well swims other friend, who is on some sort of shit herself..i think stratera, has ALL of her kids on different stuff....told swim add. is the better choice. so shit got changed around. much better now:p

Does concerta work seriously? Im curious to know myself....i dont see how the damn pill dissolves, well, when taken as directed anyways. curious to know if anyone likes concerta or sees benefits of it?

yeah the hard-ass barrel pills. they are plastic with microscopic holes in them for slow release. the brown layer inside swells and pushes the other white/off-white layers (which contain the good stuff) out of the holes. you actually pass the empty pill casings through stool. pretty fuckin smart pill, huh? i just dont know how much to take to get fucked up... but dont want to take too much by accident.

Hell, start with two wait a lil bit, then another..LOL..seriously, i dont know but thats how id do it if i was damned and determined.... just smash those babies up somehow...and if its the small ones, id double it, but like i said, if you drop dead, i have no real clue cept what i would do myself...LOL...
just a small disclaimer cuz id feel horrible if someone got hurt over anything i said. or recomended.;)

I was on Concerta 54mg for a few months. It worked nicely, and I rarely abused it. When I did, I snorted one, sometimes one and a half. Two of them made my head ache and ear continuously pop (i.e. HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE SPIKE).

However, it's all bunk reporting on my part. The secret to Concerta is in the white portion, but they put something in it that gums up in your nose. You'll have to swallow it, or, as I did one time, brush your teeth (specifically your gums) and let it dissolve.

How do you get that special white part without getting any of the brown (extended release)? Use scissors. Cut it in half. When you get the knack you'll get one-half brown and one-half white. If you get both the same color (you probably will your first time) cut the larger of the two halves to identify which piece is which color. Trim the brown from the white via scissors or, as I did, nibbling. Then, take the white half as normal or as described above for a pleasant, but not extraordinary, high.

Don't expect to be fucked up. But hey, while I was on it I dropped 15 lbs and didn't have a single craving for cocaine, or opies for that matter. But I smoked like a stack for some reason. It lost its effect on me and the doc switched me to Adderall instead of going past 54mg (the biggest one-pill dose for concerta) but your mileage may vary.

I'm currently on Methadone maintenance, but after a year and a half on it I started having serious side effects like the excessive closing of the eyelids during the day, depression, fatigue, lethargy and demotivation.
There is a novel medication called Jurnista in my country Serbia, it's a 24h formulation of Hydromorphone, just the right thing for my maintenance, but it will be in our pharmacies in 4 weeks, and prior to prescribing it to me, my doc needs the authorization from the Serbia Narcotics Board, because I'm the first one in the whole country who is asking for the Hydromorphone maintenance..
I'll know everything in 2 weeks when the next scheduled meeting with my doctor is.

But I had to think about something to beat these side effects from Methadone untill I get Jurnista approved. I got the idea that Methylphenidate might help.
So I asked my doc to prescribe me the only variation of Methylphenidate we have here in Serbia, and that is 18mg and 36mg Concerta OROS Push-Pull technology tablettes.
He agreed, and here I am, already a year on this combo of 60mg of Methadone and 36mg of Concerta a day and it is great. Not as great as Jurnista (24h Hydromorphone) will be, but at least I don't have any more side effects.

Yeah, OROS formulated tablettes is very hard to crush and abuse. If you would I.V. the content of the OROS tablet you would probably die. If you would try to snort it...well, firstly try to make it a powder, which is, I think, very impossible to accomplish.

Sometimes I have shaking in my hands or I'm a little nervous from Concerta. I also sometimes feel a little heavy feeling within my chest (my heart does not feel very comfortable on Methadone/Concerta combo), but it's mostly okay.
Anyways, Concerta is a very safe and good quality stimulant. But nontheless, I cannot wait to stop with it and switch to Jurnista.

Dont forget that the coating itself delivers the initial release of methylphenidate. After you either break the coating off or suck it off, open the pill using a razor or exacto blade to get the goodies from inside. The first time I busted these open I thought it was a brilliant ER delivery system. Back to my point, the coating contains methylphenidate so make sure to eat it too. I can't hang with that stuff anymore though. It brought on panic attacks so I just stear clear of it now.
