Namely orphenadrine, but i have access to other relaxants as well. do they effect how flexible your muscles are, how much it hurts when they get stretched too far, etc.? I can't really find any data on just what they do, so i figured i'd ask here.

Seems to me that SKELETAL relaxants like Valium and Soma make me feel more muscularly relaxed but that may be due to euphoria that I can feel with those when I first take them. Others like Flexeril, zanaflex, skelaxin, parafon forte seem to take a while to build up in my body with no euphoria and I think they are only good to help stop muscle spasms. I really prefer the first two if I need a muscle relaxer.

First-I am no professional.

In my opinion muscle relaxers will not increase your flexibility. Repeated stretching over time increases your flexibility. However I do believe that one would be able to flex more than they would normally while on relaxers. I also believe though that that would be an easy way to injure yourself due to the relaxation of the muscles one could stretch/strain a muscle more than it is prepared for.

My only experience w/ muscle relaxers (Flexeril, Valium and Skelaxin) were rx'ed in the ER for lower back pain (well, the valium wasn't in this situation.) What I did notice is that they made my back hurt even more. I have some bulging, and one possibly herniated, discs in my lower back. It seemed to me that the relaxants did just that... relaxed the muscles in my back, but aside from the spine, muscles are the only thing holding your upper torso up. So I think this put added strain on the discs and caused considerably more pain than before. I could be wrong, and it was caused by something else, but that's just what it felt like to me.
Would have to agree w/ rex24u as far as your flexibility question goes. Especially about injuring an unsuspecting muscle.

It might make it more comfortable to stretch further
