Where'd the 'Lastest Posts" section go?

I really enjoyed using the 'Most Recent Posts' section at the bottom of the Forums Main page. It made it very easy to see what the last posts have been to keep updated. This can be achieved other ways, however, tracking topics was more convenient this way...no having to go to email to find out out that someone has posted as we all give our POV's as well as sometimes add and ask new Q's. Can this be toggledon/off or is it something you all did away with?


I'd love to see it back.

Ok~ i found the top menu for all new threads...and it is REALLY cool cuz it shows which threads are new This Session' and which threads were new 'last time you visited.' So I can work with that. I just got used to having the bottom hanger.... change is good.

Sorry for posting before I really looked... that is one of my own pet peeves. Mad props to the .org!

We decided to use that area for announcements and Ophile-related news. Does the 'Recent Threads' menu on the left side work just as well? (I'm not sure, I don't use it.)

Your best bet is to use the 'New Posts' menu option or the 'Active Topics' drop-down. The drop down actually just pulls all new posts from x minutes, I've added a few standards.

I'll see about changing the front page news archive or perhaps adding another. With so many daily new posts, it's hard to cram them all into that little area....
