No but i use to go to a clinic where i had to be there at fukin 5:30 am and sit there 2 hours, talk to a counselor and pay $12 for my daily methadone dose everyday for a while.
I hated life doing that but hey I felt good for the rest of the day.
And then about 5 days into it i met a guy outside that had wafers and never had to go again and just gave him $5 a piece for the methadose 40mg wafers.

before i did my induction with my sub doc i spent five days in the hospital on methadone so my experience is obviously a bit different.
the day after leaving the hospital i arrived at around 10 am in my sub docs office. i had not had any methadone since two nights before and was experiencing mild - moderate withdrawals(i was also on clonidine and ativan though which was keeping the worst at bay).
sub doc used the opiate withdrawal protocol guide that they go by the gauge whether or not he could do the induction and decided that he could.
gave me an 8mg suboxone that took about 20-30 mins to dissolve under my tongue.
withdrawals went away.
i was home by 11:15 am.
wanting more for the purpose of hoarding the subs is a good idea.
but as far as what you should be taking - just remember that the less you need to take to feel okay the better.
and like i said your sub doc will probably go by the protocol which includes looking for physical signs of withdrawals(high blood pressure, trembling, sweating, etc.) and will base whether or not he does the induction on that(or at least he should anyways).
and usually they base how much they give you on what your habit was. so obviously if you embellish upon what your actual habit was they will start you on a higher dose of subs.
hope that helped you a bit and good luck with your appointment! :)

I just started a couple days. I went in Monday morning in very minor wd's. I had shot up heroin Sunday afternoon. Anyways, he just gave me a one week script of 8mg subutex, 3 times a day. Told me to take the first one monday evening. I go back next week to start on suboxone.

Go to the Bupenorphine forum and at the very top there is a sticky that covers Suboxone pretty well.
Or just click on my link here: http://forum.opiophile.org/showthread.php?t=4333

No, no induction. Some do it, some don't. If the doc req's it and you dont wanna do it go elsewhere. I'd imagine most DONT do it.....too time consuming. This also means the doc either a) is really concerned about his patients or b )is a control freak and or who hates junkies and wnats to punish them and keep them on a leash, not many "A" docs exist when it comes to addicts.....my opinion anyways, find another doc. but DO make suire you are in WD before taking the pill or you'll wish you were
