Every day I get the blues...

Well, maybe not every day. I generally have about 4-5 days strung together after I get my monthly supply from the Spine doctor, but the other days I generally have one time during the day when I've been able to get enuf together that I'm not sick or maybe enuf that I.m exhilarated. Right now I just got back home after kiting two checks and meeting with a friend who just came from a dr's appt. Unless I've been able to put several fortunate occurances together, enough so I can actually have a sufficient amount to last from one day to the next, I feel pretty low until I replenish. Funny thing is, no matter how bad I might feel, once I've got a plan and get underway, I immediately start to emerge from my self pity. Is that unusual? Even before relief comes via ingestion, my mood picks up somewhat. I guess that psychologically I can anticipate a feeling to an extent that I'm feeling better even before I partake. Sometimes what I have to undertake prior to using seems almost insurmountable, though. Right now, I am going to take care of some mundane but necessary tasks that I don't even attempt unless I'm medicated. Take care, all...

ya this is normal. if im out, and i call around to cop, and no one answers then i start to freak out. i get pissed off/depressed/whathaveyou. or even if i get a hold of someone and they say call back in 3 hours or whatever. but as soon as i meet up with them or see their car or even get the confirmation that its definitely going through, then my mood picks up and i feel much better, even if im sick. im sure its this way for most of us.

yeah alot of it is mental. Just like if I'm sick and ASA I swallow a pill or break out a line of OC or even slap on a fent patch I immediately feel better just knowing things are about to pick up even if the chemical is 15-30 away from breaking down in my system.

Yep i'm the same way too. If i get the confirmation and i'm certian the pills are coming, immediatly i start to feel better. Then in some cases too once they are in my possession, the w/d actually seem to go away (haha sometimes, not on those bad w/d tho lol).
