Went into fent withdrawal yesterday. Last month it was pure hell for ten days and yesterday the symptoms came on real quick. I have a previous rx for Lyrica that I never really took because they didn't do shit for my pain and made me feel real zombie like. I did take a few orally last time I was in fent withdrawal and it helped only a little, nothing to get excited about.

However, this time I tried insuflating about 35-40mgs and it is really keeping major w/d symptoms at bay. Doing the Lyrica about every 6-8 hour or so--I wait for the w/d to come up, do a line of Lyrica, and within 15 minutes I am feeling pretty good. It is helping both mental and phsyical symptoms. I fell alseep at basically my regular time last night, woke up at 4 am with muscle twitching, mental w/ds, etc, did 35mgs up the nose and was back asleep by 4:30 am until 7:30 when my kids woke me up--probably could have even slept later. Right now, I feel normal and only slightly jonesing for a fent hit.

Just thought I would share. Will keep the board updated as to what happens in the next few days with this.

Glad it worked for you..Heard the same thing from quite a few members. Don't believe I've seen insufflating it discussed though. Keep us updated.

The Lyrica is still working really well for the fent w/d. Slept all night. Barely any cravings. No physical w/d symptoms at all. Very impressed. Insufflated about 200mgs total throughout the day yesterday. I should be a complete mess right now both mentally and physically. Hope this helps someone.

Samsong - I just wanted to say this is great information! If I could give points I would!! Is your opinion of Lyrica the same?

Take Care,

I'll second that, that's what the nurses told me to take when they made a slight clerical error and left me without meds for a week..fuckers... helps with my methadone withdrawl though.
