Recently, Philadelphia's mayor blew a gasket when he learned that city funds were used to help distribute "Tricks of the Trade," a graphic pamphlet offering health and safety tips to hookers in the City of Brotherly Love. Well, The Smoking Gun's proud to report that the Philly document was actually a reprint of a pamphlet originally produced--and still distributed--here in our hometown, New York City.
Along with the hooker how-to, the Positive Health Project has produced informational handouts for those on the pipe, shooting dope, or just injecting hormones. And, no, the Big Apple-based group doesn't use public funds for its controversial outreach effort. For if they did, you can bet that Rudolph Giuliani, our town's surly mayor, would try to throw somebody--anybody!--in jail for at least 20 years.

I am personally acquainted with the group behind that pamphlet and it is good, concise info. Definitely a good thing to remember.

Very good post, very informative. Ive been IVing for about 4 months now and its damn filthy, im only using my arms and it takes about half hour to find a working vein for my morning shot (and the rest). They either sting like hell after pushing in .2ml so i withdraw or i just cant get blood to come bacck into the vein as none are coming up even though im having my arm in hot water for 10 minutes and a tournique (spelling?). I end up having a syringe so mixed with blood that i cant tell if im in a vein because ive had so many missed hits that ive withdrawn because .2ml stings and because the syringe is blood coulered i cant see if the blood is seeping in if ive hit a vein.. I need to come off very soon as im very depressed and am just a kid so people take advantage of that. If anyone has been in the same position could you reply telling me were i can find a decent vein? I obviously have no fear of needles now, but dont want to lower myself to shooting up in my groin. I have bad circulation through smoking so finding viens is hard unless i warm my body up and can see but never hit veins in my legs.

I really need some help here, im so down, i love the high but i hate the filthy dog eat dog world of having to score and thieve.

notice you live in Wales it is so cold and wet i can see why you can`t get a hit,as you say warm up first,i have been injecting for 27 years and still use my arms,when i find a good spot i keep to it for as long as i can(latest has lasted 2 years)if you miss then it`s all over and the gear must be pure
