It will make you hyper, euphoric, creative, increase your focus and concentration, reduce your hunger, make you lose weight...amongst other things.

That is for amphetamines(adderall, dexedrine). Ritalin has some of the same effects but is on the weak lower part of the stimulant ladder.

All of the most popular ADD meds are stimulants.

The pretty much do what they are called-they stimulate you.

Most people who don't need them for ADD get a nice burst of energy/motivation when they take a pill.

The common stuff is Ritalin and Adderall (lots of different brand names: Focalin, Methelyn, Concerta, etc.), the stuff I really like is Dexedrine (dextroamphetamine) and Desoxyn (methamphetamine), but the last two can be hard to find, especially Desoxyn.

Euphoric girl nailed this one....it will make you a great fucking house cleaner!! You will give molly maids a run for there money, or you can go ask em for a job.
But yes, most people i know that take adderal/ritilin love em, they get a nice buzz, seem to be very productive, and eventually.....like all good things... get hooked!

Dust bunnies? Are those related to tub-spiders?
You know, the spidery looking thing made of hairs.... commonly found by the drain in the bathtub.:)

I am set to get a scrip for focalin (don't know what the quant. will be or the strenght) this afternoon, after getting my BP checked because the shrink wants to make sure he won't be giving me something that will increase my BP into the danger zone. it's right on the border bt/wn high/low BP.

An extra hoop to jump through, but this focalin shit is dextro-methylphenidate. Ought to be every bit as good as ritalin, just with the less-active isomer separated out.

Anyone have any procedure for breaking down focalin XR tablets and slammin' 'em?

Sure would like some advance notice. I'll figure it out, you can beleive that, but has anyone used this shit at all?

Adderall is generally more euphoric than Ritalin in my opinion. I had 10 30mg Concerta (extended release Ritalin) back in early May, and those fuckers are hard to crack. I almost chipped a tooth. I was trying to figure out a way to get the methylphenidate out of the extended release form to snort it and / or possibly shoot it, but couldn't get the pills to cooperate. Everytime I tried to prepare it, it turned into this lump of slimy slimy goo. I then learned it has carnubua wax in it, so I guess that why. Anyone got any suggestions for what I should have done? Not that I'm planning on getting them again, I just happened to come across them, but it would be interesting to know.

But yes, YOU WILL become a GREAT housecleaner. There's no if's, and's, or but's about it. You will clean clean clean. You may also pick at your face in a mirror. I hate it making me do that at times. I have no idea why that happens. It will also make you talk a mile a minute. And, it will generally increase your sex drive, but delay climax, and it will decrease your appetite.

I used to love Adderall, I used to take it at work....way before I discovered wonderful opiates...anyways I would take the 30 mg XRs, they made me happy, I used to work a busy kitchen and they fired all my helpers cause I was able to do everything on my own.......the only thing is they made me bite my lip all the time, or grind my teeth....DONT take em with opiates tho....that sucks.....and dont take em if you plan on sleeping withing 14 hours....I cleaned my house at 5 am a few times...and I NEVER clean....anyways have fun, but be careful....you dont wanna mix em with any sort of downers.....peace

Dude. What do ADHD meds do to you if'n you don't have ADHD?

They will make you go crazy, or maybe just have a good time. If you are doing stimulants in any amount more than a small, single dose of something, then anybody who knows anything about taking drugs will tell you that you need something to "come down on" or something for your "parachute," or else you might end up feeling pretty fucking awful. Suicidal, even. I am not kidding.

I got some focalin XR 10mg capsules today, 30 of 'em. It's o.k., I guess. Pretty smooth - not too much jitteryness, but I get a bit nervous. Thats' why I also have about 12 Lunesta 3mg (and 6 of the 2mg's) on hand, some of which I've already taken. A good methylphenidate/dexamphetamine/phendimetrazine dose, along with some kind of tranq. like lunesta, ambien, sonata, or any benzo (any benzo except librium, which doesn't do shit), comes close to a really good opiate high.

I believe they effect people pretty much the same way, though it may be different in children. in ADD/ADHD patients stimulants increase concentration, it does this to people without this condition too. allegedly it "slows down" ADD/ADHD peoples minds so they can concentrate. I was diagnosed ADHD when I was in 1st grade and I've tried many, many different stimulants and was on dexedrine for a long time. currently I am prescribed 20mg instant release ritalin. if I really wanted to I could be back on dexedrine but I choose not to because I have no insurance and 1) it is WAY cheaper than dexedrine (ritalin $30, dexedrine $300) and 2) GP's are much more likely to prescribe ritalin than dexedrine, I can't afford to go to psychiatrists who will give it out no problem. sometimes stimulants speed me up and do the typical things speed does to "normal" people. other times I just sit and think and not talk much at all.
I like these stimulants in this order: desoxyn, dexedrine, adderall, focalin, ritalin, methcathinone, phentermine.
did you guys hear about the new version of dexedrine called lisdexamfetamine (vyvanse), it is a prodrug of d-amphetamine. it needs to be hydrolyzed in the body before it becomes d-amphetamine. this is supposed to cut down on abuse but we all know it is just to make them more money off an old drug. it is still good if you do enough, of course if you had a bunch of that shit you could hydrolyze it in the lab.
back in the day (50s-70s) there used to be amphetamine-barbiturate/tranq combo pills, here are some examples: dexamyl (d-amphetamine and amobarbital), eskatrol (d-amphetamine and compazine), desbutal (methamphetamine and pentobarbital), ambar (methamphetamine and phenobarbital), appetrol (d-amphetamine and meprobamate), obedrin (methamphetamine and pentobarbital and vitamins)

Ya know what's a great combo?: Adderall and Percocet! You will feel REALLY great while cleaing your house or doing other tedious duties that you may not usually find stimulating. When you are coming off the Adderall, make sure to take another perc. - it's not that noticable, but if you don't have ADD then you may be a little anxious - the perc. will help. One could call it, AddaPerc!

I've never used adderall, but I was wondering if I ever have kids that I will use them to get themselves scripted some ADHD medicine, because almost any kid has the shit until a certain age and I will take the medicine.

does this sound bad? I'm sure its happened a gazillion times before. haha

A watered down version of a stim/barb mix still exists in some contries! It's called barbexaclone. It's the compound propylhexedrine phenobarbital. The cation's the stimulant, the same one in benzedrex inhalers, and the anion's the barbiturate.

Phenobarb sucks, but propyl is actually a pretty damn euphoric stimulant. I find it better than adderall.

I'm sure I needed ADHD meds when I was a kid, but I never got them.

I was always the kid talking up running around the classroom in grade-school. to the point I got a spanking with a paddle in the 2nd grade.
