I don't know... I've heard others talk about that same effect. But for me, it's the exact opposite. The first 2 or 3 days on the bupe, I would feel like crap and then level out and feel fine after that.

I LOVE your pic. It's very demonic, sort of like Manson's "Golden Age of Grotesque" album / theme / artwork. It's very hand-puppet meets Satan. I love it! Sort of contemperary junkie chic with a bit of Victorian junkie chic.
Anyway, the first few days of Sub for me I caught a slight nod, but I was doing 24mg a day, then after that it would level out.

I just finished a week long binge on oxy and fent. Its my 2nd day on Sub and I still feel yuk...I have gone off Suboxone a few times and each time I went back has been a rough ride...I am only taking 8mg....I feel like I am on an emotional roller coaster. I hate it.

after getting off opiates, the first three days weren't fantastic - definitely better than WDs, but not great...I kept feeling like I was going to pass out, and at work everying kept asking "are you feeling alright? You don't look good..." but it faded. Adjustment, I guess.

Try lower doses. The first couple of days, you don't have full receptor occupation so each time you take it, you have the effect of a large percentage working at the same time. After a couple of days, you have a pretty big amount still in your body- it's eliminated very, very slowly. If you are taking a lower dose, you won't have the "build-up" from previous days' dosing.
