I feel like such a dumbshit.
I just got a call today so that I could finally return to work after months of unemployment, and of course they mention that I have to take a drug screen... tomorrow!
Normally, that wouldn't be a problem since I only take my prescribed buprenorphine. However, I did wind up taking some Ativan and Xanax the other night to combat the serious insomnia I was getting from my bupe taper/quitting.
I do have a legitimate script for Klonopin, but not Ativan nor Xanax. Will a normal piss test be able to determine the difference between these benzos, or am I cool just showing them my Klonopin bottle?
And here's the really dumb part. I basically never smoke pot. I don't really like the stuff, but I have had a tiny supply of it around for a few years just for those rare occasions maybe once a year I decide to have some or let a guest enjoy some.
Well, 2 nights ago in order to see if pot could maybe help me sleep, I took ONE lousy little hit. And that's what I'm really concerned about with this drug test more than the benzos. The one damn time a year I decide to have some, I get a damn drug test that week. I hate irony, and I need the fucking job.
By the time of the test, it will have been 3 days since the toke, and since it was just one single hit, I'm thinking it'll be fine, especially if I drink a lot of water and exercise a lot tonight.
What do you guys think? Is there a detectable difference between the benzos? Will one hit of pot be noticeable after 3 days (and I'm a really skinny person)?
Also, will alcohol help flush this shit out (as long as I keep drinking lots of water as well)?
