Upon coming across a good amount of 4mg Dilaudids SWIM has been thinking of converting
the said into aqueous form to be stored & used later without having to cook shots on the
spot when need arises.
Having in his possession those neat little ampules of sterile water available at the local needle
exchange, he intends to dissolve a whole lot of them, noting the amount of CC used per pill &
returning the liquid into the ampule.
His main concern is -
will this stuff keep? (as in, will there be sediment after a few days or plain "going bad" of the
product)
His knowledge of chemistry is limited but he has seen people refrigerate their methadone drink
& believes this is done to prevent deterioration.
On the other hand, he has seen various preparations (eg IV Morphine at the hospital) which did
not appear to have required refrigeration.
Perhaps some preservatives are mixed in to allow this?
If anyone has experimented with this or has theoretical knowledge which will help SWIM it
would be greatly appreciated.
