Ok, here is my fucked up situation. I am prescribed 100 buprenex amps per month from my doctor...lately though, the last three months, the 100 amos only last about two weeks, so I suffer in pain for about two weeks every month. So I decided to ask my doctor for a refill on my monthly script and he said no problem, so I though t problem solved. I went though my 100 in about 16 days and took one box to the pharmacy (CVS) to get a refill, the guy orfered them and said that they would be in tomorrow...then the next day some cunt, a pharmacist gets all high and mighty and says that she won;t give me the bupes becasue the refill has been too soon becasue of the directions....I said that it says take 2 times a day as directed by MD. IO told me them that I take .9 mgs 3 amps at one dose 2 times per day whcih is 6 a day divided by 100 and BAM!! 100 amps GONE!!! The woman then called the doctor and I had to track in down to his shift in the ER to finally get a hold of him and I talked to him then the pharmacist and he said TO ME, tell them to fill it, then I handed the phone over to the pharmacist and she said that it was too sonn then he said they could do it..WTF!!!!!!! I mean CHrist, it's Buprenex, not oxy or morphine!!! So I am going to try to go to my doctor's office and get an appointment this week to get another script this time for 200 amps now that I know THe refill shit is bogus....First is there anything I Can do about the refill,,and second FUCK YOU CVS...and FUCK YOU ANDREA you stupid pompous condensending CUNT..I pray to GOD yo are someday in mind numbing pain and the only thing that can bring you confort would be the prospectof DEATH!!!!

CVS and Walgreens both. Those mother fuckers won't even let me refill my xanax unless it's within 4 days of the actual refill date, and they WON'T call my doctor. They just say no get out. I feel ya man.

huh I love my Wallgreens Pharmacist. there's actually two guys there, but they're both super-cool. Or I'm not black, asian or hispanic so they don't bother me. I dunno.

CVS really suckssss,,hell they try to go against my dr.s script and try to tell me how many I'm aloud to take even if differ from what Dr states,,so it ends up they call his office and he has to straighten them out but they still don't get the idea..I'm changing to to another one and not Wal_greens they are dicks too..Damn phamacies think they can tell the Dr.s whats best when all they are is Dr. wanna-be's...

I understand CVS did the same thing to me wouldn't refill my percocet script, I also use Anabolic Steroids and the woman pharmacist wouldn't sell my syringes, hell if I was hooked on heroin I could get them free with the need;le exchange...anyway went to another pharmacy old guy was cool as hell..took care of me no questions asked..

Does anyone ahve any ideas what i can do...THe box of bupes ay to take .3-.06 mg every 6 hours and the directions from my MD say to take 2 times per day, if Itake .6mg twoi times per day the 100 ampos would only last 25 days...which I figured I could argue with the pharamaist...but I have a na appoinment only 6 days AFTER that....so would it be weird if I got a refill for 100 amos then brought in a script for 100++++ I am about to just say FUCK it and wait...but May 8 is so far away LOL

Fortunatley, I get no WD from the bupe shots, that is the reasonI love them so, I am sure if i rtied I could get some amps or vials od dilaudid but that seems liek a slippery slope that I don;t wantto travel.........

Some Pharmacist can be real assholes when it comes to pain meds or any scheduled drugs for that matter. Rite-Aid is the absolute worse, they really treat people like shit there. I love my Walgreens pharmacist. Needs to be said again, "A good pharmacist is worth his weight in gold":D

Oh god, this thread flared me up!!! I have been thru shit with pharmacies, and I think I finally found one that doesnt fuck with me... TARGET. They also have a good script program for people w/o insurance or prescription plans. I get 90 trams a month from them for 6 bucks!

The plan doesn't cover my codeine, but thats ok with the savings they give me on everything else.

They never question me, though I have gone early with new scripts several times...

I agree with ya Roxi,,now I love our Rite-Aid the pharmist used to be a hippy so he is damn cool and if I get some pain meds he always tells me to have fun and gives a wink...One of these days I'm wishing he'll toss in a few extra just for kicks LOL

It can't be said often enough...A good pharmacist is worth his/her weight in gold...I'm lucky that way, I don't have to mess with Walgreens, Rite Aid, or CVS. I'm lucky enough to work at a hospital that has the most amazing pharmacist in the world, Linda. Hon, here's a shout out to you, you rule! Linda makes sure I get whatever I and the hubby need, and even makes phone calls to ins company to make sure everything is covered. She's priceless.

Yep.. there is absolutely nothing that pisses me off more than to be treated badly at a pharmacy. Its like the moment you go to the counter and hand them the script, their mood changes immediately.... I had a bad experience at a CVS recently where a pharmicist basically lied about not having the medicine... I wen't across the street to a mom and pop pharmacy and had no trouble. Luckily, while I was there, the CVS pharmacist came across the street to borrow something from the mom and pop place, and I had the opportunity to confront the asshole. Needless to say, he will never forget me... dickhead!
