Hi I was just wondering if anybody else has ever used Ethyl chloride when iving to either help find a vein or to make it so you dont have to feel the needle go in? i use it for several reasons although i dont use it everytime I iv... I do use it when i need it like when im doing it in an area that might hurt or when i can barely see the vein or feel it for that matter this stuff will freeze it and make it easyer to shoot in... Ethyl Chloride is a topical anesthetic, Skin Refrigerant it control's pain associated with minor surgery, injections, contusions & trigger points... but anyway's i was just wondering if anybody else has ever heard of this or used it... i use it sometimes and swim always wants to use it when they come over...

Can't say as the little sting ever really bothered me.

I hardly even feel it unless I get carried away an hit a nerve. . .ouch!
