First time with done

Currently take up to 150-200 mg of hydro at one time or 80mg hydro and 50mg oxy at one time. What is a good dose to start with?

well i hope you dont overdose...... its not always wise to dose before you know whats up.... because thats far to large of a dose for you from what i gather... i was doing 80-140mg of oxy daily, and i find that 20mg of methadone will be able to tide me off for the whole day, with little jonesing... some ... but little

80mg? if theres someone aroumd to watch your ass and you read this you'd better have them cause 80mg of 'done to 150-200mg hydro, geez. Sometimes even small amounts of methadone fucks up some people and has caused quite a few deaths. you can always do a web search if no ones around to answer

Thats a lot of hydro.. How much acetaminophen are you taking in?? Id recommend CWE if taking 150-200mg of hydrodone..
If your tolerance is high you should be fine.. 80mg of hydrocodone for a first time user would probably make one vomit..

But that was just my conclusion, it totally depends on your tolerance. Please let us know how everything goes and I hope it goes well :-)

hmm see I intrepeted that to mean at one time like per dose. say I take 6 hdyros tens at once & 6 percs then a few hours later do it again, that type of thing, if he had said per day then I would think it more of a daily dose? follow me? so that would be a LOT of hydro & oxy in one day

& I tried the done at my habit & 15mg did nothing for me & jonsed so bad I fuckign too hydro anyhow so ovbviously didnt take enough next time if htere is a next time I"ll try 20 but my habit is prob his "at once" dose? in a whole day!

And the guy was desparate enough to stave off w/ds etc so I am still leaning on the idea that he takes that at one time meaning "at one time" but "at one time" numerous times throughout the day? follow me? so maybe his tolerance IS pretty high?????? yes lets hope he comes back to tell us about it fer sure~

Well FWIW I tried that exact thing on here posted a question about trying methadone to get a break from my ever escalating hydro/oxy usage & blatantly got a mudhole stomped in my ass, told I was stupid dumbass etc etc. so perhaps he was too intimidated to ask. besides it appears he "did" ask but didn't wait long enough for any answers before he tried it & if he was in some icky w/d's maybe he just went for it. yes let's really hope he comes back to tell all about it! & lets remember to be KIND to other opies when they come here seeking educations from those of you more knowledgable about such things. I sure didnt' get a very kind response when I asked & tried to educate myself FWIW!;)

While I don't think it was a wise decision to dose without much idea as to what your needed doseage is (but believe me, we have ALL been there, people here should understand where he's coming from more than anyone lol) I also don't think its a good idea to flat out tell him not to fuck with it. I'm sure someone on a previouse path told him that hydro and oxy wil fuck up your life to, possibly making him more eager to experiment (I know that's what happend to me!)
But it is true, if you start taking dones regularly, you might wanna prepare for the long haul, cause more than likely you'll ride that one out. But I don't see anything wrong with using them occasionally...like all drugs, all in moderation (somthing I have failed to demonstraight to myself). So it was a pretty shitty idea to pop 80mg for a first dose... 20 to 30 is a medium to high starting point and from there most people can get an accurate gauge of what they need. As for the part about taking your hydro dose the next day... that really should be avoided until you feel you might be going into withdrawls I guess... you see the thing with done is it DOES take forever to run its course, so most deaths and hospitalizations occure when someone thinks they are not high anymore, they redose on whatever it might be that they have laying around. Combined with the methadone in their system, it becomes to much and bam.. You find a big burley nurse ravaging your shit in the er. What a lot of people don't expect about done, is that its not the real sweaping breathtaking immediate high that one might be used to, its a little more "mellow" I guess you could say.
So I'm totally glad you made it through your little ordeal, but I have to say (with no dis-respect to you at all mr. Nomad) you don't strike me as a person who researches his moves to much before he makes them. My suggestion to you would be, wait more than 45 minuts for an answer before you move your king into checkmate like that, that was a seriously dangerouse stunt you pulled off, and one time doesn't exactly mean it will happen the next, all doses are subjective. So please ask before you go next time, or at the very least.... erowid man... it can save your life.... I wish you the best and be careful my friend :-)

If you had breathing issues you weren't far from overdosing. 80 mg is a lot of Methadone. I was started on 80mg of Methadone when I had a 2 gram a day heroin habit!

I am still on Methadone and back down to 80, but don't fuck with as Nick says. You think the w/d from hydros is bad........Wait until you withdrawal from Methadone. Your going to wish you never heard of Methadone!

I used to take 20 of the 10mg percs a day (imagine my poor liver) and about 40-80 mg of Oxycontins as well. I started with 20mg of 'done and that worked well. I never took 80mg in my life. Remember that it builds up in your systerm as well.

Just to clarify mls. and mgs. are completely different things. Mls.(that would be milliliters for those who don't know) and mgs. (milligrams...I'm sure most of us know this one!:D ) A milliliter(mls.) is a measurement unit used to measure liquids. Milligrams (mgs.) is the unit used to measure the strength of the drug...hense, there are mgs. IN mls. It usually is not a one for one (one milligram in one milliliter) If it was one for one, most liquid medications would require huge amounts of liquid!;)

I am on the maintenance program and my dose is 80 mgs daily. I was smoking roughly 2g _ ofI good tar everyday and there's a reason my dose is @ 80.... If you aren't a regular methadone user, please be careful. My reccomedation is that you take no more than 30 mgs in order to avoid withdrawls, but past that you are just using it too get high and methadone is a very dangerous drug when you are not informed of the risks and complications that can be involved in dosing. Many people take done to get loaded or think it's not working if you don't feel euphoric... Really Methadone (especially in your situation) should just make you feel "OK" and take away most if not all of the physical w/d symptoms. Also the APAP in the hydro you're taking is very dangerous on your liver... Hope you're alright and email me if you need advice or help...

My advice to anyone wishing to use 'done (to help detox) is to start at 20mg ONLY then wait 2 hours and redose in 10mg increments if need be.
