when i was on suboxone i got it for free at an inpatient detox since i was broke and homeless at the time. what are you guys paying for prescriptions from private doctors is there any price difference in the different medications, and how hard is it to get insurance to cover something like that.

I've heard my friends paying between $5-$7 USD per pill of 8mg Suboxone.

The shit is expensive.

depends on the doc. i have heard of docs only dist the pills and wolnt write scripts and some charging up to 20 a day for one 8mg pill. thats highway robbery but thats the game. some docs charge a fee of up to 600 just to get into the clinic. and my doc is nice she charges me 15 a visit she sees me each month or if im sick with a bug or virus like a normal doc does too. and charges me the same. she dont take any insurances and provides cheap health care. my insurance pays for my monthly script of 90 8mg subutex's so its not much for me. im lucky i think. some people get raped out there. be careful cause the rip off docs kno that we will pay or do anything not to be sick.

I'm looking for a new sub doc tomorrow, hopefully I can find one that won't want $600 down..Ridiculous.

i went to this dude first who charged me 500 bucks to write me a script for 8 2mg pills. i was out of rehab and desperate and dopesick. that was last year. he refunded my money only cause my lawer threatened his ass. his website ill leave below hes in pa and he treats alot of stupid people who will pay that fee. its insaine. and he wolnt give more than 8mg per day. i laughed at him at first and did not think he was serious. that prick. im glad i got my money back. also the 2nd doc i went to after him charged me 100 per visit he called the first doc and also did something to make him give me my money back but yea. since i left my 2nd doc after i found the lady i go to now who charges me 15 a visit. heres the pricks prices http://chshelp.com/page9.html

jesus, mikelss43, do all of the doctors make you meet with them once a week, when i was in detox we had to meet with them everyday, but it was free so i didnt complain. thats ridiculous, charging you 500 and telling you sorry im not gonna do anything for you, what are the requirments, just being off of benzos and being genuinely dopesick? or can they pretty much just be an asshole or already know that theyve got too many patients and still charge you for the visit.

hey drugsaregood how many of the 2mg pills do you have to take everyday? just one? i dont even have insurance at the moment but im looking for it. it seems like when you look hard enough and maybe unfortunately have to spend some hours in the pursuit, you can usually find the medicine you need.
i have one friend who had really rich parents and she had to get interfuron injections and pills and they ended up paying 10s of thousands of dollars, i had another friend who ended up contracting it also( i believe from the first, (so far im clean knock oh wood) and she ended up getting on this thing called the pegasus (sp?) program and they totally payed for her entire treatment, with out insurance, i think she just got hooked up at the communicable disease office? they just gave her like 6 months of the treatment all at once and were like well we hope you actually use it right.

Thats not too smart man. Does your doc refuse to write a script for 8's or what??? 8's usually go for 6-7 each without insurance! so you're paying about double that WITH insurance. 2's are rip offs 8's are big enough to easily break into 2 mg pieces.

the story with the guy who charged me 600 i was out of rehab and sick i had left rehab cause they cut me off of suboxone so i was pissy and wanted to get unpissy. i met this dude who gave me that docs card so i called him as soon as i got home . he seen me that nite and give me a script. i then called anouther doc who said they can't just not write you 8mg and expect u to be good. so i left the dude who charged me 600 and when to the real doc who would write me 24mg. that was within 2 days after leaving rehab. a few months down the road i was with the 2nd doc who discharged me due to me allways taking to many. my addict mind was killing me then and i didn't moderate my subs. then i got my new doc wwho i have now ive had since octoberish. she is great. shes 4 miles away and charges me 15 bucks for a one month script of 90 subutex 8mg. thats my story:)
