Need advice on buprenorphine

I've been working on kicking for a while. I've switched to a comco of kratom and tramadol with a few pods the occasional joy bang to keep me sane but am actually stepping done my daily dose. I can hold on about 250 mg of tramadol with no kratom a day apposed to 500mg of tramadol and 15 grams of gel capped kratom leaf per day. I have th opurtunity to get ahold of 5 strong doses of buprenorphine in the form of gummy bears. I was considering using a small dose of heroin wednesday and thursday, then nothing but pot and booze friday fallowed by buprenorphine when the withdrawal sets in good on saturday morning. Dose any one thing it would be worth my time to do this? As I understand it bupe will lower my tolerance and I can maintain on it for five days if I take a full sode. Dose any one know any thing about rapidly tapering from a habit of my stature? Even if it isn't going to be all that benificial dose any one seem were it would be harmful, I've been looking to experience the effects of this drug for some time. Any advice would be greatly apreciated.

I kicked with bupe. I just used a whole one then waiting as long as I could took half one then waited, took the other half and kept tapering down like that. It's not a completely clean kick (then again what is right?) but it really helped out a whole lot.

Bupe does work, for me personally it held off the wd's ,but that was all. It is possible to taper down really quickly with bupe ,but you must maintain and use nothing but bupe for at least 5 days ,with the agonist/antagonist in bupe it supplies your receptors with opiates and at the same time puts a cap on your receptors ,so theoretically you purge your body of opiates leaving just enough receptors open to stop you withdrawing.
It does actually work ,well with me it did anyway and I had a hell of a habit.

I dont know this for a fact, but I have never heard of Gummy Bear Buprenorphine. Ogre is right, it sounds weird, it also sounds like it can possibly be a scam. You never know, just be weary.

I also wanted to add that buprenorphine (suboxone, buprenex, temgesic) is a great tool to use if you want to get off opiates. My only suggestion would be is to use it as a detox drug and not as a maintenance drug. It is not impossible to get off of but it is hard. I wish my doc just used it as a detox so I wouldve been done already, but no.....now I have to detox off of suboxone.

I know it sounds realy strange but there is a clinic in the area that uses these buprenorphine gummy cubes. It's definatly buprenorphine, I've heard a lot about people getting them at this clinic. They only recently started to try an out patient version of there treatment and they give people these same gummy bears and every thing they just let you sleep at home now instead of there. The only thing that sucks is they don't tell you what dosage they are giving you, supposedly so that people won't get a psychological reaction. They don't want people asking for more on the grounds the dose dosn't sound right, they only want people asking for more if it dosn't work. The person that is so nicley parting with them just entered the program and they are holding just fine on 2 gummy bears a day. She had a 1/2 gram a day habbit, wich is just about what I got. I was only going to take one 20 minutes before bed so I can sleep and tuff it out during the day. I'm starting on them friday because I have an easier work load on the week ends, were as thursday and friday are insane. I'm not going to do any dope after noon tomarrow. I should be good and sick friday night so I'll let one of those gummy bears dissolve under my tounge. I got a call today saying that I could get 4 more doses.

The phone rang again, now I can get 8 more doses, thats a total of 12. Dose that sound like it's worth my time?

I think buprenorphine is great. me and you superjunky have the same regimine going, tramadol and kratom, though I am taking about 40 grams a day of reg strength. occasional poppy seeds. I plan to go on bup every year for awhile.

I think that giving someone a drug and refusing to tell them the dosage is bullshit, and should be illegal. they are treating junkies like dogs when they do this in my opinion. I see their point in trying to do that, but it would make me just want to go get illicit identifiable doses of bup and take them in tandem with the "suprise dose", and how the hell is a person going to control a ween if they dont know the amount in the medication?, in my opinion it only makes the compound MORE addictive...it is a control mechanism that leaves the user unaware of potency, much like heroin, and encourages a partially unstandardized product, in the sense that the USER doesnt know the potency, it seems to me like it would also allow for material to be diverted by employees without the patient knowing. I could go on and on about why I think that this is a lame protocol.

I think that buprenorphine is a fine compound. I once had access to ampules of buprenorphine with no naloxone, I let myself get sick and mainlines 200 micrograms, and felt a clean tinny rush that wiped all my troubles away. for a few days I felt some strong euphoria. when I then went on buprenorphine and naloxone later that year I felt euphoria for a couple of weeks, at the third week I decided to give it up and go back on poppy seeds and tramadol and codeine. I waited overnight before starting the standard opiates and once again felt great. I know alot of people have different reactions to buprenorphine, so I cant say that this is a miracle compound, but it is close for me.
