Weird lump\soreness on pelvis?

So the past two days I've noticed there's a lump on my left side\pelvis near my crotch yet not. It's under the skin, and it feels sore\tender when i touch it...The other side doesn't have this...Any idea what it could be? If it persists Im going to ask my doctor, have an appointment set up...Thanks ;\

Yes, it does sound alot like an infection or cyst, but are you having any pain with it when you lift anything or stretch?? For if so it could also be a hernia. Get that checked out asap Drugs.

Oh, yeah. You have tons of lymph nodes/glands right there. I've had that several times, and you should get it checked out, as it can be indicative of something systemic going on. Also, are you feeling sick, run down, running a fever? Any other stuff that's going on with you along with this needs to be reported to your Doc, even something you might think of as trivial. I've learned the hard way. Tell your Doc everything!

I had one of them a while back. I left it/forgot about it and it did go away but recently read about how serious something like that can be. Get it checked!

yeah. i don't notice any other effects, however the past 3 days my 'stuff' has been itching like mad. that is subsiding though...im going to call my doc tomorrow. heh

you should go to symtomchecker.com or wrongdiagnosis.com, because there's like a million things this could be now that you suddenly told us that "your stuff has been itching for 3 days" it seems like something I know of, but its just on the tip of my tongue....HRM. /methinks you should go see the doc

It could very well be inflammed lymph glands or nodes. It could also be an abscess, especially if you inject or IM. When you say "itching" it is the gland that is itching or all over the pelvis area.
Even if you don't inject in that area, an abscess can appear anywhere.

Get back to us with some more info and get to the doc, or ER if it gets worse or you feel other symptoms, such as a high fever, etc.
