Intervention- Episode on heroin starting right now

I just thought some of you would be interested- On A&E, there's an episode of intervention starting right now about this chick named Kristen who has to turn tricks to support her heroin habit.

thx i almost forgot it was on 2 night, woulda missed it otherwise. right now their playin an episode of some stupid sumabitch with an eating disorder an the one about herion after is a repeat i think, ill find out soon enough tho.

I saw some parts of that one on the follow-up episode they did last week...it was really lame, all the others they revisited they showed a lot of the "person before" footage, but with her, all they showed was her standing in her bathroom nodding out for 5 minutes (though she was probably there for much longer).

There are some things about that show that REALLY piss me off. Like, as soon as the person gets to the rehab the happy music starts, and the show is over. If they want to show people the horrors of drug addiction, they should video tape a junky in the height of dope-sickness, puking and shitting and sneezing and freaking out!

I also noticed that the junky girl didn't have any visible tracks, though they showed her shooting up, which I thought was kind of odd...

I think that episode is pretty good. I can definately identify with her when she is in w/d and is punching her legs b/c they hurt so bad from w/d. I feel the same way sometimes. Luckily for me I now have a steady supply of bupe to keep those nasty withdrawls away when I run out of dope.
