so i gave my good friend his first fentynal patch today (100mg-non gel type) he's done OC's before also dilaudid and some ms-contin. so i suggested that he tried 25mg to start off with. i also suggested that he just put the piece in between his cheecks like i do. so after explaining to my friend what he can expect as a high and the dangers about using fentanyl improperly, he claimed to have a bit of a glow. about 45 mins in, he got really sick and was vomitting alot. i guess my question is, did i do all the right things in warning him, or did i give him too much to start off with?

what, in your opinions, is a good dose for someone new. i feel terrible, but i don't know what else i could have done for him...any suggestions?

I would think it was too much to start with. No one should do any fent without some kind of opi tolerance to begin with. Having dones some light opis in the past doesn't mean anything, you have to have an existing tolerance from taking opis daily before trying fent. Your damn lucky he just puked.

thanks for the input. i was a little nervous there for a while. luckly the effects of fentanyl wear off quickly.

Fents strong stuff dude. And again, for the milionth time that has been said on this board, everybodys different when it comes to how they react to a certain pharm. Be careful Bro

Yeah dude i got a mean ass opiate tolerance and i get the 25 mcg patches now and then and im 240 lbs . I put it in my mouth..chew it a bit and pouch it in gum line our under tongue and it still kicks me in the ballz!I tried 1 and a half the other day and puked after about 3 hours!oh the non-gel ones too.
