appears, according to several different research groups that the antitussive and relaxant effects of nigella sativa seed oil are due in part to indirect stimulation of mu and kappa opioid receptors.

this is good news. even if the seed oil doesnt get you high. codeine in most cases was used as the control, and several antagonists includine naloxone and specific delta, mu and kappa antagonists were used to counteract effects of the oil. the delta antagonist did not...the mu and kappa did.

I am finding out about new opioids almost every month for the last 5-6 months especially, and mostly by stumbling on them when looking at herbs and then entering the herbs name following with opiates, opioids, mu, etc.

as this stuff is abundant, cheap, and easy to purchase over the internet I will be trying the extract soon and reporting on any percieved effects.

the internet fucking rules.
