well, todays been a tough day...ive been thinking about my best friend (also ex bf) who died on new yrs day this year from alcohol poisoning and an od. he was only 29....younger than me. we used to always drive out to this "spot" in the country not far from where i live and put down a sleeping bag and get Fed up or just watch the stars. we did this quite often. todays the first time ive been out there since he died....brought back so many memories....i miss him so much, we used to talk every day. we went out for 2 or 3 years and he asked me to marry him at one point, but he was a terrible alcoholic so we were always fighting and making up (typical). since the funeral ive become best friends with his sister who we used to always go party at her apartment. i talk to her on the phone often. it was really rough on her :( . earl's mom would always say "enjoy him while hes here, cuz hes not going to be here long." he lead a very dangerous life. ODed on H twice and woke up, ODed once before on k-pins and alcohol and was revived. and he was always breaking something....broke his arm, and both his arms, separate times. every time he was drunk. but i love him and i miss him and im sure hes around....

I lost a friend about 15 years ago and I still think about him all the time. You never forget, you just integrate it into your life. It's really hard. Take care -- Woo

My condolences to you and his family H. It's the ones left behind who suffer the most. Once we rejoin the fold we will realize again that separation is an illusion, and we are together - always.

well i went over to earls house yesterday and the day before (his sister who is now my best friend and the rest of the family) and picked up some of his stuff since the funeral (a couple hats, and a bunch of t-shirt). i also got to see the wooden box he waqs cremated in....ill put up pix as soon as i can it was so beautiful...but when i got home i almost broke down. it just broughty back sio many memeories about us. i talked to his mom on the phone cuz she of all people knows how i feel. fortunatly yesterday was a better day! im so glad i got soem of his stuff now. his sis and i looked at phioto albums from when they were growing up and stuff it was so cool. earl was also a musciian. we found 3 notebooks of songs and some were about me none the less! so funny....he played the keyboard and synthisizer, and did a lot od rap - hate ryme -type stuff but it was good. he recorded it in in a studio in our friend's back yard. i was there when he did some of it. he was always drunk when he sang....as ususal! :P im just so glad we all have so many good memories togather...even tho we were like oil and water and fought a lot, we loved one another very much....
