View Full Version : Fentanyl and Tolerance

So I just came across a 50mcg/hr Mylan Fent patch. I have been taking 3x 5/325 Norcos a day for a few months. Do I have the tolerance to use this patch as directed, ie. no heat, cutting, chewing, etc? The stuff you find online makes them out to be instant OD, but I have a feeling that it mostly hype. Thanks!

No, not likely. 15mgs of hydrocodone isn't worth anything. you don't have a tolerance at all.

reconsider it when you can't get high on it anymore. Lol, 15mg is less than nothing. 45mg of hydrocodone is something, but still not much.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Used to do H back in the day so now I try hard to keep my tolerance low. Can the Mylan patches be cut into smaller pieces safely?

Dude, on a BS hydro tolerance, Fentanyl *can* kill you. Be smart and read about the different methods of ingestion and what not, before you do anything. Fent. leaves very very little room for error---a lot lessthan even heroin itself, for example.

i had a low low tolerance cuz i hadent taken any opies in a while. then i dislocated my shoulder snowboarding, and the ambulance paramedics gave me a shot of 100 fentanyl and i barely felt it. i guess i didnt have enough but it still didnt rock me hard

OK, sorry for by bad board manners. This is actually the first time I have been on any type of discussion board on the net before. Thanks for the input from everyone. Just want to be safe and feel good. SWIM just cut off a REALLY little piece and will give it a try in the mouth.

I punched into the Narcotic dosage converter calculator 15mg of hydrocodone, (which is yout total daily dose) and what I got was 50mcg (that's micrograms not milligrams) of IV/IM Fent. Those patches even when wore correctly would give you 25mcg every hour through your skin. I would not put it on if I were in your position. It's definatley over your tolerance, IMO. It would take 12-24 for the Fent to build up in your system anyway, that's how the patch works.
