For those of you with experience with both of these, how do they compare (or differ) in your opinion? Also, which is more likely to cause; A) downward spiral into poverty, joblessness, jail; and B) instant death from OD/seizure/heart attack/etc?

I've had both a good bit in the past, more so of the meth. In my opinion good meth is much better than coke for a good rush and if you need to get some work done you can do it non stop with the meth, you know what I mean if you've done b4, litterally none stop. Coke on the other hand is some what similar but not really if that makes since. Never cared all that much for it, mostly since it wares off fast and u r constantly redosing more often.
On the down side meth will keep you up all night and then some unless you have some xanies or something to help you out when you are ready to call it a night (morning), and coke is not that way at all as you can sleep not long after dosing if you want.
As of your questions...(A) I would say meth since I've seen it, trailer trash guys living for that rush and would do whatever they needed to get it. I will also say had I not stopped this stuff I may be there as well, on the other hand for a little bit it wasn't that hard to get it cheap (from the bath tub) but that is much harder these days and very risky to think about trying...(B) As for the o/d or whatever, coke. And I only say this since it always pissed me off when it wore off after 20 minutes so it can lead to doubling up doses and constant back-to-back doses to stay "up".

This is only my opinion since everyone gets different responses from different things. It may also depend on which one u had first. If you are used to that and enjoy it, something else (different effects than u already enjoy) may not appeal to you...Take it for what it is...

I was a tweeker by 15. . .much younger than my coke addiction. Coke is the jones that I get, even though I really only like it for 15 minutes and then I feel like shit. But the 15 minutes after a shot of coke is 15 minutes of pure, insane heaven!
Meth (I have not banged, only smoked/sniffed) doesn't get me going (as far as getting work done) any more than coke. It used to, but the high changed after a couple years of abuse. It makes me just as fucking spent and lazy as coke does- as soon as I do either, all I want to do is hit the couch and keep doing more. Opioids are the only motivational buzz I get any more.
The difference (other then the feeling of the high it's self) between sniffed/smoked meth and coke for me is that coke feels good for 15 minutes and then 5 hours of shitty feeling, and meth feels good for an hour and then 15 hours of shitty anxious jonesing. I really detest either drug, but I am addicted to anything that will fuck me up, and drugs that cause a massive release of dopamine really make me jones. The thought of doing a shot of coke is just almost uncontrollable in it's want to do it. Luckily I haven't ever banged meth. . .

Either one is a craving, but coke takes the cake. Smoking meth is pretty fucking close though (to sniffing coke). Smoking or shooting (especially shooting) coke is in another class to me. I know you can get a decent little rush going while basing some good shards, but it still ain't a bell ringer like coke.

Oh well, I am just rambling at this point. I don't even know what the point of this is. I think the whole thread was just a misconceived outlet of a massive coke jones I got going tonight.

You can bang Ice as well for a much greater rush than snorting, 'BIG, BIG'. At the same time I agree with you on the opiod thing. Once there it is a must for motivation...What I was talkin' about before was like 5 years ago b4 good opies came along...I'm goin' for an OC!!

Thank god I never got into banging meth, i only smoked/sniffed it as well. Coke with me is weird though. I have an unusually high tolerance to it so sniffing never did anything for me but piss me off after 10 minutes unless I had quite a large amount to keep doing. Banging it though, oh man. It's totally different and I agree that it's probably the one more likely to OD on. I do my shots like 10-15 apart, just one right after the other. and the weird thing is, I have to have at least twice the shot my hubby does to get me off at all. I'm like partially immune to it or some shit. Haven't ever really done enough to build up a tolerance like that. I don't know. Meth would be my choice for most likely to throw you in the gutter. I never got really bad off on it, but I now many a folk who have. Ok, rambling sorry. I'm super over exhausted and not even quite all here right now.

Coke costs ALOT more, gives a better high and will leave you broke extremely quick(assuming your not super fucking rich). But the effects only last for 30 minutes usually, so you have to keep dosing and buying more if you want to stay high.

Meth lasts longer so you need less, a gram of meth is usually $100 and you only need a few little shards to get high for a good 8 hours. I found with meth, after a month or two of banging it just left me tired and I didnt get high AT ALL anymore, so I quit and started with opiates again. Been clean of stimulants for a few weeks, quitting wasnt hard at all for me. I'm glad to be back with my lady H again :).

If you've got high quality stuff, the coke will kill you quicker. It has a stronger vassopressor effect.
