I dont know about grass valley but the mission district in san fransisco or the tenderloin are infamous spots that have yeilded me nothing but weak, dirty, possibly infested dope.......

I would go to santa cruz and hang out with some cool kids....some street kids for awhile.... and pay them for a hook. .....

san jose is another option, but its more spread out than santa cruz, it is only a 35 minute drive to santa cruz from san jose..

of course there is sacramento, but I know nothing besides hangin out downtown to score in that shithole............

I live in Ottawa, Canada and there is no H scene here that i'm aware of. And if there is, it probably costs about 300$ a gram. So pharmaceuticals are the way to go.But I don't get out much so I dont fuck around with that. All I get here is methadone and oxycodone and they don't help me out that much anymore. I have major health problems. Just 2 nights ago I had a major hemmorhage in my intestines and I have a blood disorder that stops me from clotting so I just am still bleeding out alot but I have to wait my turn to see a doctor which could be days or 2 weeks tops and if I start losing 2+ litres i'm supposed to go to the hospital. So this is my shitty life. Fevers everyday, pain, internal bleeding, nose bleeds, painful enlarged spleen, benign tumours in my neck which cause shitty severe pain, fibromyalgia, adrenal carcinoma=death eventually, confusion, memory loss, extreme exhaustion and fatigue. I'm only 20.....fuck some morphine would be nice. I'm going to sleep to dream about pain relief and a normal life. I'm not looking for pity i'm just fucking pissed off that no one has fucking cured me yet. It's been 3 years and i'm fed up. Can't work, can't learn, can't support myself, can't date, can't see friends, can't go out, can't walk for more than 5 minutes, can't drive, can't sleep, can't live. Yeah, its all who you know. Im from Humboldt County (like six hours north of Sac) and i used to get tar (we always called it chiva) that was really really good, and some people i used to do it with and/or buy it from spend half their time in Sac, so there is definately good shit in Sacromento. I now live in Vegas and the tar here is shitty, but no one knows it cause theyve never been out of this city, they all think im just being an asshole and saying that they cant hook up good shit.

I just love california...its great here. Always sunny, the music scene is great, alot of great art and food. The beaches are better than anything i have ever experienced.

Life has been like a dream since moving here and i recomend it to anyone that can part with hurricanes and blizzards (i lived in the northeast).

We do have an inordinate number of tweakers here, though; it's true. I believe I read somewhere that Sacramento and the surrounding area has the highest methamphetamine use per capita in the nation. Wow. Lucky me. The good part is, you can put refuse (old electronic equipment, broken chairs and lamps, boxes of this crap or that) out by the curb and it's gone within a hour or two 'cause the tweakers come by and take the stuff away.

The above is the only thing in this thread that I took personally, in spite of his statements to not take it personally, I found it offensive and an unfair assessment of what I consider to be one of the most beautiful places on the planet and populated by some of the most interesting, intelligent and unique people I've ever met. Maybe I did take it too personally and maybe I was out of line but if I told your family to "eat the corn out of my shit," I suspect you might take offense - and FWIW I think what he said is just a disgusting, juvenile thing to say and if it had been anything less, I probably wouldn't have said anything at all.

The rest of my posts were simply retort to whoever stepped up to defend poon/bash me and I admit that to me, it was mostly flaming for entertainment's sake. I read a lot of different boards and on most of those boards, if you say something stupid, you get nuked for it.

I didn't join this board to start shit with people and I think if you look at my post history, most of what I offer is sound advice from someone who's been around the block a few times and maybe a little conversation. I don't carry any real grudge against anyone in this thread although I still maintain that poon's post was out of line and I don't really care if anyone here agrees or not. The truth is though is that once people started jumping in, it was (cheap) entertainment more than anything else. I know better than to take the internet too seriously..

Don't be sorry and careful with the context here: I said too seriously and I meant that chatter on message boards doesn't really mean a hell of a lot (to me) when it comes to (at least my) daily life.. To be honest, I'm glad you find solace on web forums. I'm a big believer in the power of the web, so much so that I dedicated several years into learning how it works, how to leverage it and where the weak points are. That's another subject; my point was that it's not the Internet that I don't take too seriously but it's little flame wars like the one in this thread that don't mean much - I was in a mood and I said what was on my mind, so what.. On some forums today, on IRC and on usenet back in the day it was considered sport. Notice poon has made one comment since I shook the universe here and hasn't said shit since. No. Big. Deal.
