mallinckrodt dillies...

I did a search, but I didn't find really anything. I think it's just because maybe people mispell "mallinckrodt" alot or something...hehehe. Not the easiest word to type out. Anyways...

I get 4mg dillies from Mallinckrodt. My brother has been banging them for a while now, and he's helped me bang a few in the past. Maybe like 3 times. I'm not real big on IVing stuff, but every once in a while, I just like the real strong instant rush you get from sticking drugs directly into your vein. (again, I know most people will have the response of Stay away from the needle!!!, but I actually enjoy a nice oral or snort better due to the long term effects)

So I have a few of these guys just laying around in my droor right now. When my brother does them, he uses cold water, and he doesn't cook his pill solution at all. Just throws in a cotton and sucks up the goods. There seems to be ALOT of extra stuff just sitting in there afterwards. Wouldn't heating it up a little make it better? The first time he ever shot me up with a 4mg pill, I felt a little rush, but it quickly faded in like a minute, and from what I hear most IV users describe shooting dillies, it's not like that at all. I do have a bit of a tolerance to opiates, but wouldn't 4mgs of dilly being IVed usually knock an extremely rare IVer on his/her ass? Maybe because he didn't cook his pill?

I remember seeing a "How to Shoot Dillies" thread a while ago, but I didn't find it in my search. Is there any way someone can link me? Should I apply some heat on my dillies next time? Should I let the pill soak for a few minutes to let the actual drug seep out of the rest of the binders/fillers? I'm really quite inexperienced when it comes to the whole IVing thing. Sorry for being such a noob on the subject, and I also apologise because I'm sure this has been mentioned before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you guys!

Take it for what its worth, but I am still alive, and I've shot many of those little beauties, and gotten quite high in the process.

That is the eternal question ... to heat or not to heat. I've done it both ways. You definitely get less gunk in your rig when you don't heat but the question is if you get less of the good-stuff as well.

Lately my method has been to put the water in the spoon, bring to a rolling boil, then remove heat and drop in the dilly-dust and stir, drop in the cotton, and draw up immediately. These are with M4's just like you got. Is it better than just using cold water all the way through? I'm not really sure. I get blown away either way. Would be curious to know Heidi's answer since she's shot more dillies than I've had hot meals...

Sounds like your brother did not get all of the 4mg pill. IME heating the water before throwing in the powder works the best with M4 dillies. I also had the best luck with 3cc/27g fits and about 1.2ccs of water. better rush. Mallies have more filer so filter well, if its cloudy in the rig, re-filter. wheel filters should come with every bottle of these in fact. I got talc lung from shooting cloudy M4s.

SWIM is in the unique (lucky?) position of having a few Mallies, Roxanes & Ethex 2mg dillies. It'd be neat to do a blinded 'taste test', 3 heated, 3 non-heated. The only problem is that the ethex is blue, which kind of ruins the 'blinded' part... but maybe by throwing some masking tape over the syringe might work. Hmm. If it works SWIM will rate each on a 1-10 scale and post the (highly subjective n=1 non-scientific) results. That'd be way cool. It'd be even cooler to do a multi-person study and analyze the data from like an n=10 study or something. Too bad SWIM and I (the analyst) don't have more local friends :( And yes... we can skip the "ME TOO" responses to who wants to participate. No point in waxing about the number of us who'd like to participate. I think we can stipulate to that as a given.
