Apap liver damage vs Alcohol....smart ones come in

Ok so if you take a bucnh of vics. Say you eat 4000 mg's of apap.

In relation to that damage, but with alcohol what would be the equivalent? A 12 pack maybe??

Not sure of the ratio's between the two, sorry. But I would definitely say apap is worse on ya. For instance, if you took (for some unknown reason) 8000mg of apap for a few days you're taking a big chance that your liver will shut down on ya. Whereas alcohol will most likely have you puking it back out before it can cause instant liver damage like the apap.
Tough question to answer tho bro. I'd drank for almost 15yrs straight and no notable damage that I can tell (thank God the liver regenerates itself tho!! I believe it's the only organ, besides your skin, that can do this.) APAP = bad... CWE = refute to APAP.

Edit: I've heard 4000mg of APAP is the max (also heard several other numbers in this range.) This will damage you much more quickly if taken over a period of time, compared to alcohol. If you start getting yellowing in the whites of your eyes, fingernails and such, that is a sign of Jaundice and probably should see a docta.

Man, up until this site Ive NEVER worried about my live. Dude I used to pop 20, 30 7.5/750s for days on end. I bet a fifty one bender lasted a month. And nothing ever happened. I didnt feel sick or nothin. Just really fucking itchy and stoooooned.

But then I here some people say "No way you took 20 in a day, youd be in the hospital"

Maybe it affects different people in different ways, or maybe its just my livers gonna fail at 30. Time will tell

The damage that alcohol does is different than the damage that APAP does. Can't really compare them; BUT it is proven that APAP, even in recommemded doses, has the ability to fuck you up pretty bad. Once your liver fails, it fails, dude. Pill, I was right with ya, and never had anything bad happen to me, but once I found out about APAP's nasty potential, I seriously put myself in check.

OxyC is right. Comparing the two is not possible because alcohol damages the liver overtime whereas APAP can cause immediate liver failure. My dad (may god rest his soul) used to eat Vicodin like crazy 20-30 pills a day and he did this while drinking huge quanities of alcohol over a period of 15 years, he never had a problem. His liver function tests were normal up until about 1 year ago. Mind you this is not what took his life but in the end it helped contribute to the metabolic acidosis that did. Do a CWE on those it only takes 15-20 mintues tops.
