Ok for the last 3 years I was using oxycontin 120mgs/day, during that time I detoxed a few times and know how tuff it is.

So after I couldnt get oxy anymore...and hadnt used in a month I decided to try pods.......I only bought 100 of them, but they were big. Ive used about 4 a day for 2 weeks.

Now I only have 12 left and a bag of the knobs from the bottom of the pod. Yesterday I decided to stop and see how bad it would get, Im now at 48hrs and my nose is runny I feel like shit, and I went home early from work.

Should I try to ween myself with my last pods/knobs? Im broke until payday and thats 2 weeks away.

How long is the half-life of pods compared to oxy. Honestly with oxy I felt better on the 5th day....pods seems less intense but I fear it will be longer.

Candy....or anyone, please share your pod detox experiences.

Jeez maybe I should just stop commin to this site....it really makes me jones if you know what I mean.

edit maybe this should be in the medical forum.....I dont know.

I read on here somewhere a few months ago that my life was about to change. "But it's only a fucking flower, it's organic..." I thought. I was out of work 4 days last week because I'd weaned down to only 3 or 4 a day and my psychic being was going ape-shit. Not physical, but big-time psychological. I did like 3 yesterday and woke up coughing with post-nasal crap choking me this morning. But, yeah, I think you can dose down slowly, but knot with no effects whatever. Usually, I just do them in water and have noticed you can go back and combine the squeezings and add lemon or lime juice and get more goody later. Something is better than nothing.

Like all opiates you will feel some withdrawl symptons from lack of, that beig siad you can ween yourself off of them like oxycontin or any other opiate. Weening may help a little but you will have to go through withdrawl at one stage or another, that is if you feel like stopping if not get more pods or find another connect.

Well I have gotten more pods.
But I should mention that until I got more pods which was just today, I hadn't done any opiates for 5 days. I actualy got to the point where I started feeling better.

My report of a pod withdrawl is pods take longer to get out of your system...which is logical because of all the different alkaloids and such.

But compared to an oxy detox pods are MUCH more mild. Which was a suprise since I read so many posts saying pods are the worst WD of all. Well they dont have shit on a 120mg/day crushed oxycontin habit.

In fact because I was so used to, and expecting a similar WD to oxy. The pods seemed like a walk in the park.

Oxy withdrawls are really bad....the worst I've felt, but even that is so hyped up. Physical WD's are not the complete living hell they are made out to be. Its really the mental addiction that keeps us comming back.
