I wanna post some pics of my truck in the bodyshop to show all the damage but when I go to upload it says file too big or something. Now what do I do?

Got Photoshop? If the pic is too large, or the file is too big, all you gotta do is open the file in photoshop or gimp of whatever, drop the size a bit, and possibly save it at slightly lower resolution. If you need some help, hit me in Yahoo or MSN or whatever and I'll do what I can, bro.

That's the microsoft image resizer (part of power-toys). I have every app you can think of and when I'm sending photos out or whatever and just want to drop the size of the image real quick like I use this program.

After it installs you just right click the photo you want to resize, and choose "resize image" from the right-click menu. Then it asks you "large, medium, small, or custom" For the forum just choose large, it will resize to 1024 x 768 and you're good to upload it. Easy as cake bro, my mom can even do it. PM me if you have an questions. (or post here, whadeva)

It will make a copy of the original file, with the same file name and (large) attached to it in the same directory.

You could use paint too, a little bit more to it then P.S. but it works if you aint got a photo editor.

Fuck noooo photoshop though You're trying to upload a bitmap, you should convert that file to a .jpg and the file size limit is 195 kb, and for a jpg that is a lot.

.jpg's are compressed files for anyone wondering, .bmp's are not. A .bmp is a prefered filetype 99% of the time, just not on the internet.

Give me 2 mins, I'll show you how to convert your .bmp into a .jpg (without photoshop)

Ok, open the picture you have in MS Paint. Do that by clicking start / programs / accessories / paint . Or, you can just copy and paste this text into windows explorer, or internet explorer, or the run command, whichever %SystemRoot%\system32\mspaint.exe

Then, open the file you want.

Finaly click file / save as / and drop down the bar at the bottom so that it changes from .bmp to .jpg and save it.

You can use an online app to do it as well, but just use paint. You already have it and it's simple. here (http://www.coolutils.com/Online-Image-Converter.php) is one such page that will do it for you, but really though, just use paint.
