I first noticed this herb being used by a drug company as an herbal painkiller. So, I looked into it and found some interesting uses at Botanicals including cough and diarreah. It also says it's slightly "sedative and narcotic".
Anyone ever ingest this plant? there are 2 species that grow around here in abundance so if nobody's tried it yet or has any knowledge of it I'm going to try it myself this Spring when they pop back up.
I should have some interesting experience reports when we thaw out up here. I have a few plants I want to try. I'll be careful not to poison myself (again).
