Just curious has any one experiened a addiction with this and withdrawals as i know it will happen to me in a month or two i looked on erowid and google and so on but no information cheers

Well, I haven't personally experienced true addiction with it, but I've been scripted just about every variation of stimulant for ADD. It might be my physical need for it that keeps actual addiction at bay.

However, I definitely noticed/understood the potential for abuse. Maybe more so with Adderral than Ritalin. There is definitely a tolerance factor with these meds.

As for withdrawal, it depends on how much you're using. I can tell you how I've felt when stopping the "as prescribed amounts" (and maybe you can extrapolate from there)

1. Immediate psychological cravings for 'pick me up'. If you use it to get going in the morning, you'll probably be really slow, foggy without. Other stimulants, like caffeine, won't help much.

2. Crankier than usual, and definitely get tired much earlier in the day.

When stopping scripted amounts, these effects only last about a week. I imagine if you've been taking tons of it, you're going to have a pretty big crash. Probably sleep a lot more than usual for a couple of days, then start dealing with the psychological end of things, where you'll be wishing you had that super-alert, energetic buzz.

I hope this helps somewhat, and I'm sorry I can't give an exact break down. Just be prepared to go through some lethargy/depression and really missing that feeling of your mind being way sharper than usual.

Speaking of which... this weekend was so good, then got so shitty, so quickly. After snorting a shite load of adderall and not sleeping all night, I spent a good portion of the the next day puking my brains out in one too many public places. :(

The w/d's will be mild with lethargy being the main problem. Why not try a taper? I use Dex. regularly (at 25mgs a day for about 3 days a week) and then use another 5-15 mgs as a taper

Cheers. I only take timereaelse so aint nothing to bad and the odd snort. Was just wondering what if i told my doc i was having awful withdrawals (Obvisiouly research before) and exagerate a bit, well a lot would i get any presription of recreational value? (You guys are probably thinking im a right loser)

Your doc probably wouldn't believe you. Even if he/she did then all you would get is more stimulants or even some psych meds if he thinks that you might get a bit manic (I assume you are ADD).

i abused adderall everyday for a year, i quit a few monthes ago. I definatly noticed a withdrawl, nothing close to opiate w/d's, but more of a psycological w/d, it made me super depressed, angry, annoyed, for about 2 days after i stopped using. i was doing about 200 or more Mg's every day so i had a pretty good habit going

it's psychological. I guess fatigue/sleepiness, if you can call that withdrawal.

Your appetite will also increase quite a bit for a week after you quit if you've been using stimulants heavily.

Complete Dick: Dude, I hate too sound like a complete dick. But you can't withdrawl from ritalin, it's a really weak ass stimulant intended for 5 year old fucking kids for christ sake. If you somehow manage too withdrawl from ritalin then you've just set a new record as the biggest PUSSY on planet earth.
