There's some talk around and about a Buprenorphine Implant that's due for a clinical trial as early as Summer 2006. Anyone know anything about this or have any additional info?

I can find nothing.

Yes!! SWIM heard of a friend who was planning on doing it. They were supposed to fly somewhere in Cali to get it done 'cause that was the only place that did it. They said its a shot you get that puts the bupe in your skin and somehow slowly releases it for like 6 months.

I'm sure they'll need some human research subjects to try this out

Yea its a depot injection not an actual implant [as in a naltrexone implant], my brains foggy and I forget any of the details I actually thought testing has been already done with this. Yea i was right trials are already underway...
