i want to get me some effective lotus leaves. i gather that they are effective and not just a rumor, like kratom. i figure i'll get them from iamshaman.com, that's where i got my kratom from. is this a good source? and what are your thought on the effects of lotus consumption?

I got a batch from the local head shop, was good, definately noticed a down like buzz. I also got premade teabags from my local health foodstore, wasn't as strong and tasty as the pure leaf\flower. Definately good stuff, I can't take it for the time being considering it has a small MAOI inhibiting action to it.

I think the human that you refer to is just human placenta.
human placenta is eaten as a type of health food in certian countries, even in the USA within a small population of folks.

I think the placenta has hormones that might release opioid type peptides among other things.

but it has been a long time since I researched the subject.
