Hello there,

I just started Suboxone treatment. I went into the clinic on my own will, it wasn't court ordered or anything, just the realization that I really hate tar, and how it is preventing me from doing well in class (i'm studying stenography). Im on 32mg/day. It cost me 800$ to get into the clinic, and a 28 pill script (about a week's supply), which was only 30$ through my insurance. I have talked to my doctor about switching to Subutex because I think the antagonistic effects of Buprenorphine are enough, the naloxone is overkill. One can't really get a good nod even from buprenorphine alone after reaching a very high dose. Anyway, just wanted to see if anyone has switched to Subutex from Suboxone

peace,
kisps

Hey man. I'm thinking about switching too. I ended up paying $600 downfront and my script is the same price as yours. I'll let you know what happens w\ the switch.

Since I admitted myself into the clinic, my Sub doctor is more willing to let me switch to Subutex. I have noticed some problems with headache and anxiety, which I have never encountered on any opiate. My guess would be that the Nalaxone has something to do with this. I think the antagonistic effects of the Buprenorphine are enough. If I was resistant to treatment and just wanted to get high at any oppurtunity, I think Suboxone would be appropriate, but that isn't the case.
