Well If you didnt figure it out by the title, I got ripped off about 30 min ago. I met a few people yesterday and was tryin to score. For the record Ive been sober and on sub for year and a half, so lately I've been jonsin. So I got a number called today and went to meet the dude. He got in my car and said he had to go walk down the shoppin strip to get it(fishy yes!) I said ok heres my $60, give me something of yours(phone, keys, wallet...) he said no he needed his phone, didn't have anything else to give me. That should of gone off in my head, but I haven't had a connect in a year and a half so I trusted him. He walked away and Ill never see him again.
I really hate myself right now.

the best ways to deal with the street middle man:
1. No money til i see the dope (then show them the $ so they know you're serious).
2. I'll give you half now and half when you get back.
3. Take me with you to score, i'll buy you $x (50?) after you introduce, plus give you a cut of mine. You're basically paying $50 for the connect.

Hey it happens to a lot of people, trust your gut feeling, I know I should have many times before. People who burn people suck and I'm sure someone will burn them sooner of later so just think about that.

In the pitiful situation where you are forced to use a middle-man, and you absolutey have to give them the money to score, I find that I can trust women more than men. There's the added advantage that just about every women carries a purse, and even though there's probably nothing in it of any value, no woman wants to lose her purse. So "here's $100, leave your purse here while you score" has worked for me time and time again. It's so easy to pick up a ho. Just try to find one with the right addiction ;-)

Having them hold something is pointless, because most times they'll say the main dude burnt them and that's that, as in not "their fault".

I've had people build up my trust by giving sick deals, coming through constantly and then lo and behold one day just pulling the "I got Burnt" or flat out bailing with the stuff. It happens and until you get someone who is a career distributor not fucking with the product it'll keep happening randomly. Just part of the game.
Don't beat yourself up too bad SWIM got hit up for an ounce @ gunpoint once I "heard"...

It sucks having no connection. The first time I get the balls to randomly ask around to score and end up getting screwed. I got to be smarter in those situations.

I really fucking hate getting ripped off. The last time someone asked me to front them the money, I took his $200-300 watch and some other expensive item as collateral. Everything worked out fine. I used to be trustworthy to friends and people I knew decently well. Too many friends have stolen shit from me.. dealers giving me short bags or really bad drugs.. and of course what happened to you! Fronting money and not getting it back. Last time I got ripped, was when I had a great coke connect with my so called "friends", and they charged me more at the last second, made me give them some, and the guy who i didn't think would fuck me over, but did. Begged for 20 minutes for me to give him half a gram of coke. I hardly get a coke connect and when I get coke I don't want to give it away, 'specially front it! He gave me all this bullshit like "oh we've been though a lot together" "you're a great friend and I don't want to lose you as one" "I would never do that to you" "I He told me if I fronted him the half gram, he'd hook me up with a G the day after. I called and called and called.. he ignored my calls and turned off his phone, of course. He works at a gas station right near my house all the time and lives near me. Am I going to get revenge and do something to him? No.. it's not worth the bullshit. Lots of greed out there.

One time, a couple of my old friends threw down on a quarter oz of coke. We all went through this dealer for weed or blow. I always thought he was a shady fuck and told the others, but they said I was wrong. Oh were they fucking pissed when they realized their money is gone and no coke is coming. We actually drove to his apartment planning to beat his ass and steal his shit, but the fucking pussy moved!

For realz, its SUCkS! Thing is I can get all the other good shit but don't want anything else, just H(I'd prob settle for strong opie - fent, dilaudid, 'done or oxy).
Im going on the hunt tomorrow, and if nuthin comes up, hit NA meetin that night.

I think it depends on what we're talking about but if you mean a woman you meet on the street they are often having to do really nastyu things to fund thir habbits so won't bat an eylid at the prospect of getting money for simply burning a guy, or should I say tricking, as opposed to turning a trick. I've ended up with a worthless jacket handbag smelling of cheap perfume before
That said I've ended up with a laptop case full of onions, which were extremely high quality. but not worth

we need to work out a way not to worry about this shit anymore. i'm doing what i can to at least take care of me and mine, but it's not enough.
okay, sob story, and probably the only time you'll hear it:
about a week and a half ago, swim meets up with an old friend-supposedly one of the 100mcg/hr (or 10mg total for those not familiar) fent patches for .5G of H. sounds righteous to him, being that he has so little experience with H. family (i.e. wife and child) waiting in the car.. nowhere good to test it. instead of making a scene about it, he makes the swap, is stoked to have gotten that much in such a thin market, and heads off happy. it's not like this guy who has always been honest and decent and straight about things would EVER give anyone the shaft...
yeah right.
maybe he should have checked in the car first. maybe a lot of things could have been done differently. in any case, next day there's one sick junky and one soon-to-be-sorry scam artist.. desperation is no excuse. whatever happened to being able to trust one's friends?

Sorry for your misfortune..if you stay in the game long enough eventually even those you considered your real friends will fuck you over.
I got a call from my son last night..begging me to put him in sub treatment. I've know he was using since I went home to visit in Dec...but he wasn't ready. long story short..he's always been the one to do the hustles for the cash..to take the fall with the cops etc...but when the tables were turned he got burnt. I'm not talking about some random street hook up either I'm talking about year long friends.
Being dopesick will drive a lot of people to do things that you or I would never imagine doing ourselves.
Being burnt sucks..esp if done by a friend. Sometimes your better off dealing with strangers..freinds always think they can and will make it up to you.
But it's all part of the game. Hope things improve for you soon.

Damn that sucks. Same shit happened to SWIM. SWIM did business with this fuckhead multiple times for thousands of dollars. All of a sudden, He decides to rip SWIM off for 2 bills. luckily SWIM found out where he lived and smashed his car windows with a hammer. Fucking SWIM over ended up costing him thousands of dollars. SWIM know's SWIM Know's very bad decision, but at the time SWIM was on HELLA OC's and it sounded like a good idea at the time.

ive been in the same situation many times before and you have to go through 2-3 people to get what you want. i dont know why but where i live it seems like you have to go through someone that goes through someone else, that actually knows the main dealer. and at the end of it you have been taxed by everyone that has their hands on you money. i know it sucks. i just try to deal with people that i have been dealing with for a long time.
