This isn't for me, but I need this info for my sister. She has recently been released on parole from prison. With parole comes drug tests obviously. Now, she claims that last Thursday afternoon she ate 6 vicodins (30mgs hydrocodone), and then later Thursday night (technically early friday morning) did 3 lines of cocaine. She has a "dip stick" test which I assume is a 5 panel test tomorrow morning around 10AM. This means she's had about 6 1/2 days for the drugs to run their course in her system. This was a one time thing, so it wasn't prolonged use we're dealing with. She's been drinking alot of water, cranberry juice, and being active. Now, I did some web searches and read that both these things should run through her in about 2-3 days. She's still freaking out, though. I know there's sometimes freak occurances where these things can still be detected much longer than they should. I know this topic has been discussed to death, but I told her about Opiophile, and she just wanted to see actual posts from experienced members about her own personal situation. So again, sorry for bringing this topic back up again, but I just want to give my sister a little peace of mind so she's not worried about going back to prison for another 10 years for failing a drug test all night and tomorrow morning. Thanks guys, and again, sorry to bring up a subject that has been discussed to death. I just know my sister will appreciate it immensely. Thanks guys.

The Heroin User's Handbook, page 118, states that; "Since heroin stays in your system about 72 hours, you can use with relative safety on Friday night because it gives you at least 60 hours clean before you have to test." Since hydrocodone metabolizes at nearly the same rate as heroin, your sis should be fine.

I don't have a reference for cocaine in front of me, but as you probably know; Coke is completely out of your system within 2-3 days tops. She'll be fine... this time.
