I've been using oxys (40s) [sometimes 2 or three a day) over the past three and a bit weeks. I stopped after Saturday. I feel like sh*t. I thought i felt shocking yesterday but today I feel like I've been hit by a truck - carrying metamucil... I have really bad stomach cramps, my eyes are crying (like a runny nose) and my calves are cramping like buggery. Could this be wd after only three weeks or do I jsut have some bug? If it's doesn't sound like wd I think I'll go to the doctor but if it does, can someone let me know? I dont wanna embarrass myself...

Sounds like wd to me, but it COULD just be a flu or something. Lots of variables though, is this your first habit? You seem to be relatively new to opiates (I could be wrong, i havent read your other posts. either way, this isnt a slam) just trying to figure out if you couldve picked up a habit in that short a time. If this is your first go round, and you did end up with a bit of wd, it will likely be mild, comparatively speaking, to what many folks have experienced (myself included) but it won't feel mild to you, it just gets a hell of a lot worse.
That said, the symptoms do sound pretty typical of withdrawal. Get yourself some immodium, maybe some kratom, it helps. Also, if you plan to keep riding the ride, be prepared to deal with WD. Gotta pay to play, right?
Good luck, anyway.

Thanks for that - I think :)
Yes this was my first go at opiates. Maybe I did too much. Either way I feel really, *really" crap. If this is mild - wow. How long will it last? Tomorrow is the fourth day since I snorted the last pillss. I had the last three over last Fri night/Saturday. Prob stupid but I did it... Why would it make my stomach go ape-sh*t?
Thanks again

Yeah thats WD's to a tee. It's not common but sometimes thats all it takes to start going into withdrawals from opiate use. After the fourth or fifth day you should begin feeling better. Seeing that you have only been using for three weeks it shouldnt draw out over any long period of time unless it turns out that it is a cold or the flu.
From what you said tomorrow is actually the third full day for you withough using. So I would think that by wed you should be 80-90% out of it and youll be to a point where its not that much of a hinderance. Opiates effect the digestive system greatly so when you stop using them they are going to effect them in unpleasant ways as well.
Now you just have to decide if this is something you can live with for the rest of your life. If its not something you want then I recommend you get yourself out of the opiate game ASAP.
You might decide you can just do it here or there but we all know where that leads.
Either way. Good luck

Thanks mate. I just wanted to check before I went to a doc. I'll have to try and grin and bear it. I just took an Imodium, so will see what happens.
If I ever took another oxy, what happens?

For me, withdrawal from oxy and MS (when I run out of scripts) is generally a week, for the physical part to pretty much pass. As far as the "why" of your question, opiates have the tendency to cause constipation, and when you stop taking them, your stomach is going to suffer just a bit, know what I mean?
If you just generally feel like "crap" then yes, you're dealing with mild withdrawal. When I kick, I usually spend 4-5 days either in bed unable to sleep due to the RLS and generally creepy crawlies, or in the bathroom shitting and puking (thats a real drag when both hit at the same time). I'm not trying to scare you away from opiates, because I must say, they are worth it. I think of it as kind of a tradeoff..and if I have to suffer for a few days a month for the other 90% of my life to be pain free, and generally pleasant, its definitely worth it. I am a chronic pain sufferer, so the same tradeoff might not seem worth it to you, but it IS, however, the price of admission, so to speak.
I'll shut up now, the morphine makes me kind of chatty.

Immodium isnt going to do anything for ya if you only took one. It may help with your constipation a bit but if your taking it because its an opiate and you want it to make you feel better your gonna need a much higher dose.
THe best is to get the liquid Loporimide and take about 100mgs or so. Either way it should help you with the diarhhea if you take 20-40 mgs or so.
mate its pretty habit forming, i started taking more after a month of having them, and then decided to stop having it during the day, and after a month, i got w/d so yeah its definatly w/d, after the first day i was fine, i took some over the counter codeine to help me and that stopped the wd
good luck mate

I4I5 makes a hell of a point. You sound like you are in a country that will allow you to pick up codiene products over the counter (no one uses "buggery" in the U.S.).
If so, go get some. You won't get high but you'll feel better. Your fairly new to oxy's so it may do the trick.
They trick is not jumping back on once you feel better.
Good Luck my friend.

You can become physically dependent on just 20 mgs. of Oxy a day for just 2 weeks, so I'm not surprised that you're getting serious withdrawal from 80-120 mgs. daily for almost a month.
When I first started messing with opiates, just using pods only 3 days a week for 3 weeks had me feeling some withdrawal after a couple days. And I thought it was bad back then! Try using daily for 3 solid years and then stop. You'll be screaming for someone to shoot you in the head by day 2.

Jumping off OC is a bitch!!
When im out or know there isnt goin to be any available for a while I can wind down on some hydros for a couple days then jumpin off isnt nearly as bad a CT off oxy.

I know what you're saying but never make light of somebody else's WD. We're all different. I'm a pretty tough guy, I have a high pain threshold, I can "bite the bullet" in all sorts of situations, but when it comes to WD's I'm the biggest pansy in the world. I start to go out of my head long before the real symptoms actually hit.
It sounds to me like he's got it bad and my heart really goes out. It's a horrible feeling.

Sure is a horrible feelin but he'll be over it within a week. Alls he needs in some immodium and maybe some benzos, I wouldnt even fuck withthe Kraton. Hell he could use DXM for the help....

I can answer this one.
If you take more before you get through W/D you'll be almost back to square one. Even after you 'recover' it won’t take much for your brain to be back in full 'dependence mode.' Somehow your brain just remembers and a three day binge that might leave a first timer clear headed the next day will probably be enough to put an ex-addict into full-on W/D. It sucks. Good luck!

Yep, it doesn't matter how long you're clean, if you use again you're brain will instantly revert back to addiction mode. That is a FACT. Once an addict, always an addict.
Once you've triggered an initial dependency in your brain, you will need to avoid those drugs for the REST of your LIFE in order to avoid further addiction and misery.

When I had WD's the zillionth time.. I would wait till the second day and do a small amount that would get you half-way fucked up.. and that would keep me good and I wouldn't have withdrawals after that. It worked with morphine, and it worked with oxy. During the oxy I probably did as much as you except I snorted instead, the pain still hurt, but what bothered me the most was how my sense of touch was weird. I never had stomach problems, or vomiting. By the way, just think about taking a shit when your constipated during withdrawals. I hate it. I did it 2 weeks ago. The first day without morphine I would sweat while taking a shit and go into the brace position but wrap my arms around my legs.
Aww, stinkin' thinkin'.
