Will Methadone kill Subutex (bup)

I've got I question.

When I take methadone 2 days after 8mg buprenorphine (Subutex) I get effect from 60mg meta. If I take meta 1 day after 8mg Subutex, will I get effect?

Well it depends on how many days in a row you have been taking 8mg of Subutex. If it hasn't been very long at all and your metabolism is average I would say yes you should feel the methadone after 24 hours. However if you have been on 8mg of Subutex for several months straight or even longer and also if you have a slow metabolism you could have to wait 36 hours or maybe more to feel the methadone. I would say you would almost certainly feel the methadone somewhat after 24 hours no matter what but it could be a blunted feeling. Instead of the full effect just a half assed type of thing, know what I mean?

Yes I know exactly what you mean. Thanx a lot for the anwser. I've shorten down my use of Subutex to a maximum level of 3 x 8mg per week. But I hold out today and didn't take any methadone, so tomorrow I should get a very pleasant effect! :D

When i was on Bupe (Subutex) for a long time, almost three years every day 4-8mg Buprenorphine/day
i always waited atleast 36h and then took Heroin and got effect, but i got better effect after 72h offcourse!

Feeling Methadone eh?, Havent gotten fuck all for ages.Bup is a partial antagonist and so theoretically should block other opiates.I found I had to wait at least 4or5 days after a bup dose before feeling anything from anything else.

Yes I certainly do. 2 days from 8mg bup and 60mg metadon works good as hell!
